If only we even heard mention of the goddess Eos just once in the game. The more I learn of FFXV's story, it gets me more depressed that XV just didn't portray any of this to the player
Chokoloco me too. its so depressing how incomplete the game was left. no offense to pez, I appreciate his game theory videos. however, the game being left incomplete is such a kick in the nuts and it seems like they don't even give a shit. tabata sitting there troll faced.
I agree. But at the same time, it's like the developers intend the players to come together as scholars and piece it all together... like it's supposed to be part of the experience. Tabata is weird like that. Nomura would have kept things far more intact.
Yup, they didn't even tell us about Ifrit's involvement in the starscourge. He was just a random boss Ardyn threw in front of you and we got nothing at all other than that. These theories are great, imaginative ideas, but they're built on information we never even had in the game to begin with, and then even further guessed and imagined upon. How can square be given credit for writing such a brilliant story, when the core elements - who Ifrit even is for example - are missing from the game and everything else in these theories is extrapolated from further lack of information. We wish FFXV had such a great story. Sadly, it just didn't deliver.
Chokoloco im right with you. they really should have included this stuff in the game. it would have made the story deeper and more meaningful. but the more i learn the more i love the game!
Love this comment because it so perfectly describes their horrible art of story telling.its almost like they steal material from fans as they guess and make it "real" without even any reassurance.
That is a really deep theory. I love it! So basically, Eos is a forgotten Astral (Goddess) that was being punished for giving birth to 2 Half-breed Astrals (which is possibly taboo...). That would explain why The Lucis family are the only ones capable of using magic and are able to draw power from the Crystal (possibly Eos' heart). If all of this is true, then I have to give props to Square Enix. I wish they would have mentioned this forgotten Astral/Goddess but maybe they wanted us to discover this subtle yet deep story told in this dungeon.... Either, cool video! Great as always!
he is pulling the story out of the game, not vice versa. the story is there if you have the eyes to spot it. why do you think I keep pointing shit out in his comments.
it's a theory not 100% fact. What he's doing is he's pulling it out of the game, piecing it together and filling in plot holes, something that squenix failed to address/deliver so give the guy credit. "why do you think I keep pointing shit out in his comments" ... because you're not one with 32K subs ;)
morderteufel, that is a horrible theory. Pez's makes way more sense. Ulric only had the power of the ring til dawn, and because he didn't have the blood of Eos (dawn), he died. Noctis doesn't die after using the ring.
To add to the theory: Using christian theology, Eos being the goddess of the dawn/morning explains the family's last name "Lucis". The prefix Luci- not only means light, but is related to Lucifer who is known as the "Morning star" or "son of the morning" . The name literally tells you that they're the sons of Eos.
@nachgeben yes there is this been bugging me that means this is the house of satan luci = Lucy = another name for the devil example cyberpunk Lucy she was the devil in that show. = luci = lucii ring. They draw parallels to king solomon with the ring thank you for making me understand truth
The last couple of days I've been thinking that the reason the Lucis wear black may be because they were mourning Ardyn's corruption, but what if it's because they're mourning the loss of Eos. Surely the mortal she was with noticed that she was gone or had died, and thus perhaps mourned her in the typical manner of wearing black and made others wear it as well, including his sons. The Lucis were just in perpetual state of mourning for their mother (Eos) and for the lives of the kings that would be eventually be lost. Their family was pretty much built upon death and this would sort of account for the death symbols and the black.
Pes, think about the Black Hood! When Noct ends Pitioss he finds the Black Hood, that makes him dodge the attacks. Remember the Summon of Bahamut? Ifrit is able to dodge all the swords of Bahamut. So maybe when Noctis ends the Pittios Dungeon, he gains the same ability as Ifrit, because he was tested the same way as Ifrit. I hope this theory is right, but who can say?
This makes sooo much sense in a way. It really makes me feel for Ifrit now. And it makes me soooo pissed at the other gods who really did nothing but fuck with Noctis and Ardyn. If you think about it, these motherfuckers in all their godly glory really couldn't bring back the dawn? they made a single mortal/demi-god do their dirty work? Nah. They're gods. They full well knew what they were doing. After playing this game, it makes me appreciate FFXIII more. Imagine if Lightning was in this game. She would've slain these gods for trying to troll her and humanity. Hell, if I was Noctis I would let the Gods figure this shit out themselves. They brought it upon everyone.
Mel Bell Thats is why I love Nyx, his reason to wear the ring of lucii was to straight up tell the gods they are evil and selfish, that they dont care about humans or lucii, that they are not gods. And the end they still won cause Nyx still wants humans to survive but he wasnt not going to be able to protect them with out Regis power, so he accepts to sacrifice himself for humanity. Nyx is the real MVP of FFXV
I hope Square see all of these videos you take the time to make and come to the realisation that the XV story blueprint was phenomenal. As you've said many times, a beautiful skeleton that really just needed far more fleshing out. Square, we're all here to listen to the story you wanted to tell, all that's left to do, is tell it.
Kevin Carroll what? Nonsense statement. This is same as lore with Dark Souls. They are theories and they are parts to a story. Can't help you understand it with that mindset though. Majority of people obviously prefer a directly told story with zero lore, zero things to make theories possible because people would get confused and not even bother to try to come up with a theory. Why am I even replying to this? No clue, ah whatever, finished, later 😄👍
Kevin Carroll No offense, you say its a cool theory but contradicted that statement when you started off with *"Pes is trying to make it bigger then it is"* ..... Well...that's...the point of a theory???? Is to be open minded and actually think beyond the box? Like thinking into Pitioss's Dungeon and realizing there is so much more to it than just confusing symbols and fucked up blue prints with spike protruding from the ground?? I mean...are we NOT supposed to read into it and have a brain fart moment? Because myself and so many others would never had made this connection with Pitioss, Ifrit, Eos, etc. I doubt you made that connection....just saying.
Pitioss was the BOMB, the entire dungeon was just cray, and the way it was made was .. just wow. I Knew that there had it be some meaning behind it so This theory is like the ice on the cake man. I feel at ease knowing my gut was correct💥💥💥😂😂👌🏽
Spa ghetto ._. i loved it. loved the sadistic puzzles and something was willing me to push on and succeed. some of the puzzles were genius...breaks it up from mindless hack and slash most of the time
I've seen the question "so who built pitioss" a fair few times. I'm gonna say I suppose the gods built it as a obstacle to prevent anyone getting into pitioss. The place they put Eos. Perhaps it was put there to stop Ifrit, would make sense as to how he aquired such insane parkour skills! :D Or it was built after Ifrit opened a path to the underworld. The gods or a civilisation like solheim perhaps built it around the entrance to prevent the starscourge or daemons getting out. Obviously it failed because black goo is smeared up the steps of the entrance so something or someone got it out again. That's my thoughts anyway =) Why were you so abstract about this Square!!! Imagine if they FULL on made pitioss a story of Ifrit/Eos. Cutscenes and everything at the savepoint statues. Imagine seeing it as an ACTUAL story unfold. That would have been mind blowing awesome and yet another opportunity skipped. Pitioss cinematics or even just a voice! A Voice telling the tale would have worked just as epicly if the cinematics were too much work!
Final Fantasy Peasant that sounds reasonable yeah, with ardyn having lived for so long he must know of the dungeons location and the history iswell. So he then partnered with ifrit. I can see all the puzzle pieces coming together now :0
I like your theories and they make sense.. but Tabata said he wanted a simple story, so i doubt he thought so deep into it. Probably just coincidence. Im sure you would write a better story than what he did.. would have been awesome if FFXV actually had most of the things you have mention in your theories, since most of them make sense and was not very hard to make them true into the game. But from the moment Tabata said it was a simple story with no cut content, i belive all thats found in the game but wasnt in the story is coincidence, or are small parts from Versus XIII (Nomuas ideas) that didnt got into FFXV story and stayed as a random part into the world of Eos.
@ Final Fantasy Peasant - It wouldn't be the first time Square has been this abstract. In IX, the old city of Oeilvert did pretty much the same thing. Abstract images that told the story of Terra's assimilation of Gaia. Yeah, at the end there was a narration that explained it, but maybe this was planned to be a part of the chapter 13's Gralea sequence, complete with an explanation upon completion that may have been cut. But the difficulty level made the rethink it. If it was forced to play this dungeon as part of the story, I would have rage quit the game, Pitioss is soooooo tedious. With the dungeon layout was completed, why not put it in there as post credit extra?
Ya know. I don't watch your videos and think "That's a cool theory". I'm more like "Damn, that's awesome. and totally the truth." unless they explicitly say otherwise and explain what they really had in mind, then this is what I choose to believe is canon. it's so deep. so well thought out. so awesome 😍 I want more games with this level of detail. I love being blown away. when I get these goosebumps running down my spine. that's what I live for in the FF series. thanks for the vid Jake. and thank you to whoever initially came up with the original Theory to begin with. I love you both
What if that scene in the afterlife of Noctis and Luna is them ascending into the Astral Realm? Luna becoming like a new Eos and and Noctis becoming the King of Astrals or something? If he has astral blood then the prophecies take on new meaning right? You do see the crystal like effect which usually implies something astral (summoning etc)
Hey, this actually makes a lot of sense as to why Noct or the line of Lucius can pass powers to to others. The ablity to summon weapons, the ability to use elemancy, and one other. Thanks for presenting this theory.
I've been in there for one whole freaking week in-game time, I wonder what the hell Gladio, Iggy and Prompto were thinking I was doing in there. Must've been worried sick lol
DarkClawAssassin - Minecraft PE Related Stuff Well Noct was with the Gods so maybe that's why they weren't THAT worried :P But yeah it's kinda weird I expected a really huge "welcome back" party, I mean these guys mean so much to each other, the reaction was indeed somewhat of a let down lol
I love how almost all your videos end with you getting so exited about theories to the point where you're just like "I'm done". Great channel dude, started watching since FFXV came out. Always hyped when I see you have dropped a new video. ALSO, I love your concept of giving square feedback and criticism that will actually help push them to make positive decisions for there future endeavors. Keep Killin' it dude!
DUDE! This was amazing! I can totally get on board with this theory. I wish Tabata would watch some of your videos! And like other people said, it would so freaking amazing if you could interview Tabata!
Well not totally exactly, as we still don’t know who Ardyn and Somnus’s mother was. But it’s true that Ifrit’s alliance with Ardyn is for different reasons. Some elements are nullified but others can still be true.
I just giggle the whole way through when I watch your videos. I love how giddy and excited you get and in turn I get giddy and excited!! Never change how you narrate- so full of life and not robotic like so many other voice overs. I just live for it! I love it! Keep doing these, please!!! :))) you're wonderful!
I wonder if they did this as a way to please everyone in terms of story. For those that didn't want a complicated story, the game provides enough to satiate them, but for those wanting a deeper understanding, there are clues towards the true story. If they had made all this a part of the main story line, I'm certain it would have been blasted as convoluted, despite its ties to Greek mythology. I'm blown away by this approach. Well Done to those that designed it, and those that discovered it!
i actually thought Pitioss was some sort of bastion for the solheim empire, that got overtaken by the starscourge. but this being some sort of memorial for Ifirit's history is interesting. However... who built it?
I think mankind started on it, but Ifrit and Titan made it more complex over time. It may have been a hiding place for Eos initially. No one would expect a goddess of light to be hiding in darkness. Ifrit, who agreed to this and Titan had a big hand in constructing it. That is why the dungeon is mostly made of steel and stone. Somewhere along the way, mankind betrayed the astrals and seduced Eos herself. Since man being with a goddess is a sin, she was imprisoned in the very dungeon that was supposed to protect her. And the only people who could enter were other astrals and/or her kin. Coincidentally how Luna could never leave the castle on her own accord. What's not explained is how Eos died. Perhaps from a broken heart? They say when someone heart is broken, it turns black. Explaining the starscourge, turning it into a literal hell. Ifrit may have been obsessed with Eos, but she didn't love him back in that way. She loved the man who impregnated her. But because she died, Ifrit snapped. So Titan sealed the dungeon. Turning Ifrit into stone everytime he tried to enter. And reconstructed the dungeon so that it told a story of why she died rather than how. That would explain the complexity of the dungeon. Titan wanted to confuse Ifrit. Once Titan learned meteor he broke through, learned of Eos's fate and the rest is history. What do you think?
Damn... That haunting melody "What Lies Beneath" adds a whole new layer of meaning to me now after seeing this... More depressing and majestic since it's the woeful melody of Eos and Ifrit's story, as well as Ardyn's. That's literally the perfect name for it, too. The Pitioss Ruins and What Lies Beneath goes hand in hand, considering it's a place that hides the world's darkest secrets (as well as FFXV's too).
I think this isnt the lore of the FF15 but instead what the lore of FF VS 13 would have been, since SE screwed Nomura out of the development i think pittios was their way of still telling it through a single Dungeon. Even if its all just reading into it its too cool to ignore.
damn, pez, shit, um, this is probably one of the best videos i have seen about ffxv, how square-enix just told a story through a dungeon, and how you portrayed it, im at a loss for significant words. awesome terra reference as well.
That's Way to much dna(less then 7 previous kings, there were over 100 before Noct) not is closer to 1/2.4e-39,and that's assuming the founding King is half astral
I always thought they looked really like Bahamut would look like Noctis with the helmet off. Like, the shape of the eyes and amount of eyelash was too familiar XD
I just played the Pitios dungeon yesterday, and as soon as I saw the door and the devil in the cage, I knew it was something about Ifrit, but I couldn't piece it together since I'm not that versed in the history of FF XV, but I knew it was an amazing story. Thanks for the video, have a like.
Ff15 has the deepest lore in the franchise by far. The fact that it’s told through the restricted eyes of a goth kid with his best buddies is such a great move. For all its flaws, it’s one of the greats.
I hope this isn't just a theory that turns out to be better than the actual game story that turns out to not be what the creators were going for much like mass effect 3's indoctrination theory.
the ff15 team could easily just made an textbox apear where everything would be explained, or a simple cutscene. but they design a whole dungeon to tell a story. guess what is harder :D
I don't understand though, why do the Astrals seem to have switched sides in the game and are helping Humans instead of hating them like Ifrit seems to do now? If Ifrit loved Eos and she got pregnant by a human, wouldn't it make sense that he was upset at that and would want humans to suffer now? Did I miss some explanation of this?
He blamed the mortals for the death of Eos because it was her love of them and that she became pregnant by them that she was killed. In this theory Ifrit either took pity on Ardyn or decided to use Ardyn's power. In the pity Theory, he watched over Ardyn and once he saw humanity betraying Ardyn who was sacrificing much to protect them, he enraged and took Ardyn away. Together they decided that Humanity was not worth saving and set things in motion. In the use Ardyn's power, Ifrit could have been accelerating the rate the plague spread intentionally to drive Ardyn into madness. Once maddened Ifrit easily manipulated him into hating humanity and furthering his goals.
We don't know that Ardyn became immortal BECAUSE of the daemons in him. In fact as he was blessed as a healer and existed nearly 1,000 years as a healer before the starscourge took him over. He was actually immortal a long time before the scourge. It's actually looking more likely that he was a demi-god because of his mother if this theory is true. Some dem-gods are immortal, some aren't so no way to know
but He himself Said it in the Scene with the Crystal that He got immortal because of bis healer Job and bcs Herr absorbed the daemons.... but i think that they took over after death. and even if he ALSO wanted Revenge for eos, this lust for Revenge was only able to come over him cause of the daemons corrupting his mind.
Awesome Theorie, whoever made it. In any case it'S certain they nailed the hell/underworld aspect with Pitiuss (couldn't they at least have more checkpoints...)
This is too mind blowing with insane FFXV knowledge I get the theory but wow so many questions! Square you guys give very good Easter eggs and stories and think it well without us knowing
So I've played final fantasy most of my life. I always knew the story was much deeper. I had no idea it was this big. Thank you for taking the time to make this video. It was definitely an eye opener
I... am very much grateful to you my kind sir. You have filled the void which FFXV has left behind. I also thank the one who made the theory fixing the somewhat broken story of the game or the incomplete legend being put together piece by piece.
the first time I saw that circular-saw-train thingie, I immediately thought "hey this resembles doomtrain from FF8" and now the fact that IT IS Doomtrain, plus the whole pitioss story thing, feels like my spine is ridden with doomtrain
Wow, this is the most rational/complete explanation of the Pitioss (Pit of Eos) dungeon! It's a real shame us fans have to rely on an outside source to get an explanation. With that awesome job to you, PEZ and PERONA77!!! PS: This made my 4-5 hours of frustration worth it! Going back again! lol
He didn't say it was gonna be Ramuh's face. He said a designer with crazy sweet ideas, originally wanted the Ramuh summon to be so big that only his face came out of the sky. But they felt it was too crazy as his summon is obtained early in the game and would make the other summons seem less grand. So, they let that guy with the original ideas create the Pitioss dungeon. And it was so cool that they made it a bonus dungeon.
It was crazy you made the Terra connection because I got to thinking who's the most powerful FF character out of them all. Now this is highly debatable of course, but I really only started thinking about this after playing this game enough to see how unbelievably god like Noctis is. And the only other person I thought that would even be a close call(or possibly edge him out) was Terra.
It would be cool if that was another connection to ff6. ffxv is so inspired by this game without being obnoxious obnoxious about it. Beside, with how gimmicky the summon system is, Noctis is kinda still changing eye color depending on the mood. When his friends fall, when he is dangers himself, when the battle is going too long and so on.
Super happy to hear about this, not only because it adds MUCH needed depth to XV's story, but because it pretty much confirms that Eos (the world, not the god) is to Italy what Spira was to Okinawa. It still upsets me a bit that the degree to which this seemed like it was going to be true was probably reduced in the VsXIII->XV transition, but a lot more than we'd anticipated seems to be intact. The Eos/Etro connection is very cool, too. "It's up to your interpretation." ;)
It literally just hit me.... Pitioss....Pity Eos.....
Oh man always wondered why it was named that, makes perfect sense now!
mind blown wowww
That's just wow !!
Keep fucking my mind like this and I'm going to sue you for brainchild support lol
DaekonFrostgrave or pit eos, like eos's pit.
holy shit, she's got one wing as well, makes a lot more sense why Ardyn has that wing armguard in Kingsglaive
fuuuuuuck youre right
Alisa N Holy shiit I can't handle so much lore
Alisa N Bru, BRUUUU BHRRRRRUUUUUIU!!!!
HOLY SHIT!!!
Well spotted.

Chokoloco im right with you. they really should have included this stuff in the game. it would have made the story deeper and more meaningful. but the more i learn the more i love the game!
the ff15 team is probably watching your videos to get some ideas for the future story patches and updates tbh

Valeria T that's probably true

Final Fantasy games have always been like that. There is always a backside story to it, if you observe and think on it enough.
pez gives more story in ffxv than the actual game xDDD
CAKE BABY!

damn that was deep man... I just want to curl up into a ball and cry
Let me hold you... :D
Group hug!!
So does this mean the ring of the Lucii made the house of Lucis mortal by eating away at their "immortality".
vizzi 01 I was thinking the same thing.

+CarlosG 0619 he told off the kings not the astrals
Pez, you need to petition TH-cam to add a 'mind-blown' button to your videos
This is why this game should have been a trilogy.
I'd have been happy with them just taking another year to round out the one game.
but trilogy is 13
hahaa
Naromura (spell lol) wanted it to be a trilogy but square-enix said no to him.
Naromura?
Mad Dawg he also wanted to make... a musical

20:38 Could this also explain why Noct is the only one who can absorb magic?
(The description on how Elemancy works)
But Cor also gives us a magic flask before Noctis sets sail for Altissia which could imply he could also use magic
That explains why we the player (Noct) have to equip our allies with the magic. Instead of them just using it on their own.
Pitioss was the BOMB, the entire dungeon was just cray, and the way it was made was .. just wow. I Knew that there had it be some meaning behind it so This theory is like the ice on the cake man. I feel at ease knowing my gut was correct💥💥💥😂😂👌🏽

This is actually mind blowing!
Well I've always thought Noctis was a Demigod since he could use God mode Armiger to fight Leviathan and Ardyn.

Very possible. And then took Ardyn there to show him? If Ardyn is Eos' child he has 100% seen that statue and been down there :O
It's the middle of the night and I'm screaming.
I fucking love this game.
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAA XD
yo bruh your theorys are always on point bruh good shit i been watchin all these vids from u when i beat the game .. didnt knoe ardyns crazy history
Do you still love it
I love you both
killXtech Same, i believe all of this is canon
What if that scene in the afterlife of Noctis and Luna is them ascending into the Astral Realm?
Luna becoming like a new Eos and and Noctis becoming the King of Astrals or something?
If he has astral blood then the prophecies take on new meaning right?
You do see the crystal like effect which usually implies something astral (summoning etc)
He isn't a astral Bahamut says there are only six 'A power greater then even that of the SIX'.
Coming back 5 years later on another play through of the game. Gets me so hyped to finish it again.
I hope you played episode Ardyn. Because there is explained the relationship between ifrit and Ardyn.
So... how did it go?
Hey, this actually makes a lot of sense as to why Noct or the line of Lucius can pass powers to to others. The ablity to summon weapons, the ability to use elemancy, and one other. Thanks for presenting this theory.
maybe the father of the twins is the katana king ( "A king was changed forever when his beloved queen was taken from him prematurely")
That be cool. There's a video depicting the kings in order and the katana king ends up being Regis's father I think. I need to re-watch it.
omg, yes. I hadn't even thought about it. It would fit the description of "the oldest king"
This is probably my favorite FFXV theory. ♥
Noctis being like Terra makes sense considering ff15 is heavily based on ff6.
thats it man, just another one of the many FFVI references Tabata said there would be
Final Fantasy Peasant Hopefully the dlc will expand it, maybe Gilgamesh has ties to Ifrit.
Episode Gladiolus happens at the site of the "Aftermath of the Astral War"...
I'm anticipating a bit of lore for March 28th.
Anyone else wonder what the other guys do while Noctis is in Pitioss?
Adriano Vicenti lol me!
I've been in there for one whole freaking week in-game time, I wonder what the hell Gladio, Iggy and Prompto were thinking I was doing in there.
Must've been worried sick lol
lightsidemaster
worried sick for a week?
lmao, they managed to endure 10 years and just say "yo" when they reunited
DarkClawAssassin - Minecraft PE Related Stuff
Well Noct was with the Gods so maybe that's why they weren't THAT worried :P
But yeah it's kinda weird I expected a really huge "welcome back" party, I mean these guys mean so much to each other, the reaction was indeed somewhat of a let down lol
lightsidemaster
lmao, Noctis was chill
he's just like "yo, I'm back"
and they be like: "oh cool, ur back, sup?"
Interesting theory. Certainly makes you think. I know this isn't completely your theory, Pez, but great job bringing it to life. Great video.
Tabata's watching this like," FUCK!! we should've thought of this!"
Huge fan man keep up the great work, you are by far my favorite TH-cam ever!
DUDE! This was amazing! I can totally get on board with this theory. I wish Tabata would watch some of your videos!
And like other people said, it would so freaking amazing if you could interview Tabata!
we are once again on "There's nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so" point
@13:13 that could explain why Ardyn said " I was in the darkness for ages".
This entire video is nullified after episode Ardyn got out, explaining what happened.
Ikr it sounds stupid now.
Well not totally exactly, as we still don’t know who Ardyn and Somnus’s mother was.
But it’s true that Ifrit’s alliance with Ardyn is for different reasons.
Some elements are nullified but others can still be true.
More like retconning what happened.
It's a shame the actual game couldn't have given us any of this
I wonder if they did this as a way to please everyone in terms of story.
Ardyn maybe built it? He has had 3000+ years to kill lol
That explains the sadism in it, should have known that Ardyn would still torture us even after death!
I wonder how long Peasant cried in his bed when subsequent patches and DLC thoroughly proved all of this wrong.
I think this isnt the lore of the FF15 but instead what the lore of FF VS 13 would have been, since SE screwed Nomura out of the development i think pittios was their way of still telling it through a single Dungeon. Even if its all just reading into it its too cool to ignore.
Lmao same but he prob forgot
The enthusiasm with which you narrated all this made the video even more interesting...
And thanks for all fhe explanation!!!
"Cephalus. Siphalus. Syphilis. *chuckles*"
Okay, I had to smile at that.
This was a fab lore video Pez! I had no idea that pitios dungeon could have such a deeper meaning, it was so freaking nuts
Great theory! Currently replaying, will try to keep all that in mind and look at it from this perspective
damn, pez, shit, um, this is probably one of the best videos i have seen about ffxv, how square-enix just told a story through a dungeon, and how you portrayed it, im at a loss for significant words. awesome terra reference as well.
nice although I wouldn't say he's 'half' summon but 'part' summon, because of how far down his line he is
Noctis is 1/114 or 1/115 parts of summon.
That's Way to much dna(less then 7 previous kings, there were over 100 before Noct) not is closer to 1/2.4e-39,and that's assuming the founding King is half astral
Thing is it seems the Astral powers are dominant.
@@Ibo-b6i It would not be 1/113 because that would be assuming they are full astrals. From the very first one it would be 1/2 so 113*2 so 1/226
That "I'm done" jumping out the window is funny s hell. That crack me up.
This should be updated in light of Episode Ignis and Episode Ardyn.
i,..have no words. I'm going to sit in a corner and process all of this for a while. great upload btw
I get a female vibe from Bahamut. That's why we get close ups of the eyes...They look too pretty.
Who said men can't have pretty eyes?
I always thought they looked really like Bahamut would look like Noctis with the helmet off. Like, the shape of the eyes and amount of eyelash was too familiar XD
Pipe Dream did you read „Dawn of the Future“ or smthn?
This is why I love the FF series so much, they go so deep into the lore and secrets it makes seeeking rhe stories back doors worth the grind
I'm still waiting for a reasonable explanation for "Cake Baby!"
He lost his mind in this ''hellhole'', was probably hungry too and thought about cake xD
ff will always get me with the fact the DOOMTRAIN is a thing
What is ur intro song ?
I just played the Pitios dungeon yesterday, and as soon as I saw the door and the devil in the cage, I knew it was something about Ifrit, but I couldn't piece it together since I'm not that versed in the history of FF XV, but I knew it was an amazing story. Thanks for the video, have a like.
recent sub but i fucking love this channel. blew my mind pez
thanks so much bud :D Good to have you hear with the channel =)
Ff15 has the deepest lore in the franchise by far. The fact that it’s told through the restricted eyes of a goth kid with his best buddies is such a great move. For all its flaws, it’s one of the greats.
the leaps this theory has to go to make it work is ridiculous
yeah, no
@@FinalFantasyPeasant No offense dude but I debunked your theory with like..a few quotes, But I love your content.
and now that episode ardyn is out ifrit lost all sense of threat, and was under control of ardyn the entire time
I hope this isn't just a theory that turns out to be better than the actual game story that turns out to not be what the creators were going for much like mass effect 3's indoctrination theory.
the ff15 team could easily just made an textbox apear where everything would be explained, or a simple cutscene. but they design a whole dungeon to tell a story. guess what is harder :D
I love how excited you get during your theory videos! I started my new game+ with new eyes because of your videos and I'm having a blast!
Same reason Ardyn went from healing people and saving them to murdering them. Anger, vengeance and a desire to watch it all burn
mike miles I agree with that theory
I really don't know what is mostly amazing! The theories you bring or your narrations! You are just far beyond awesome, sir, I must tell you this!
still makes me sad that they told this story in such a obscure way :/ how cool would it have been to see some of these stuff in cutscenes. :'(
Remy Dolce pez should be employed to make a story for an FF one day
Remy Dolce This game was supposed to be dark, right? Badumtss
Sometimes the best stories are told in our imagination ;)
Visibility is poor.
Remy Dolce clean your glasses
Good Video , Basically like we all said ... Unfinished master piece .....
Even fucking nore revealing is Ardyn's one winged outfit, labelling him as a dark angel and further ties him to the Gods.
Reminded me of the end of 7 with sephiroth and one wing in the center of the Gaia and the 13 past kings reminded me of knights of the round summon
MIND BLOWN!!! Really think this is legit
I do to :D Love the idea that Noct is part summon lol
When i see Genji Gloves i think Gilgamesh.
We know Gilgamesh is in the dlc so is he involved with the larger story in this theory?
ardyn wasnt immortal since birth! he was immortal since He got enough daemons in him. but then his twin Killed him.
and when got ifrit him? ehrn He died
and this means that the Logo in the Ending are not just noct and Luna!!! but also EOS and ifrit!!!!
i Stil think that the father of lucis Family is ifrit, but that He became an Astral after he was a Mortal
Pitioss could also = Pity Eos
Pit 'of' Eos
This is too mind blowing with insane FFXV knowledge I get the theory but wow so many questions! Square you guys give very good Easter eggs and stories and think it well without us knowing
Pez's story is more solid than the actual story. Pez for Prez!
Brilliant! Just brilliant! Great vid, Peasant. It makes the area a lot more interesting from this point of view.
the ring drains the life out of the lucis family thus they are not immortal like ardyn is.
So I've played final fantasy most of my life. I always knew the story was much deeper. I had no idea it was this big. Thank you for taking the time to make this video. It was definitely an eye opener
Jesus Versus XIII could've been the best. Come on Tabata
MINDBLOWN!!! Why didn't I think there was more to the statues before? I should've known there was a story behind it. Awesome work, Pez!
At 22:27 ish what is the song? I recognize it from FFIX but I don't know it. It's definitely from Pandemonium in FFIX.
I... am very much grateful to you my kind sir. You have filled the void which FFXV has left behind. I also thank the one who made the theory fixing the somewhat broken story of the game or the incomplete legend being put together piece by piece.
holy moly macarroni Pez!!
Just when i thought we couldn't have more mindblowing theories you prove me wrong!!!
Job well done!!!
This really speaks volumes of how dark the FFXV story was meant to be.
Awesome work as always Pez! Love your theories! Mind-blowing as f***
You just earned yourself a sub, boi your enthusiasm for this game got me hyped enough to give this dungeon another try, keep doing what you do~
the first time I saw that circular-saw-train thingie, I immediately thought "hey this resembles doomtrain from FF8" and now the fact that IT IS Doomtrain, plus the whole pitioss story thing, feels like my spine is ridden with doomtrain
I bought this game and never played it. Time to jump onto it.
I really wishes playarts released the Bahamut figure from this game.
I love how excited you get. This channel is awesome.
Excellent analysis mate, I won't lie. Man tears when I saw Eos' statue.. :(
It was crazy you made the Terra connection because I got to thinking who's the most powerful FF character out of them all.
This makes me want to give ffxv disks for people who doesnt have this godly lore game
Awesome video again, just blew my mind. This is the kind of stuff that just makes me love the game even more.
For something completely different. Hey on 15:35 doesn't that look almost like Kojima Productions Luden's logo
What is that version of "You're not Alone" with words? I've never heard that before
