what makes different from gfriend to other group is they tend to make the choreography look like a storyline. Just like what you've said which is the thing that I really agreed on, they just don't do a move or step, they add CHARACTER or TEXTURE to it. You can easily execute movements but having that character to make it feelings (which is really effective when conveying messages esp. emotional ones like crossroads, summer rain, apple etc. ) to your dance is not easy and gfriend did that perfectly.

So many people are blind to this and just say it is easy but they miss the subtlety and imagination involved in performing it. The Mona Lisa is a painting of simple brush strokes that anyone could do individually but it is how they are connected together that transforms it into a masterpiece.

Honesty in my opinion.. Crossroads is one of gfriend best artworks.. The song just so beautiful.. the instruments' are rich... the MV's so cinematic.. like we'r seeing a movie and that's also good, good cinematography and different vibe.. it's not actually like we'r watching a kpop mv lol. And as you guys could see, just how sharp the dances and the choreography... I love Crossroads so much...
I want to learn this dance so bad but it's SO FAST I swear at first I was like "yeah, that doesn't look hard", and it isn't hard at all but, it's so fast and has a lot of details it's overwhelming for me hahaha
Their choreography is very lyrical....as if each moves are meant to show each words. Yes, they're telling stories through their choreographies. The more I understand Korean (still basic though), the more I understand how lyrical their choreographies are (from debut until now). Also, the feelings...the emotions they show through dancing are just beyond amazing.
This is such an emotional dance and has pieces of choreography from their previous songs as well (Rough, Fingertip, Time For the Moon Night to name a few). This song came out just as they moved away from the dramatic orchestral sound they were known for, almost like it was a goodbye to that era.
