Kun muutin Itävallasta Suomeen mulla oli vain hyviä kokemuksia kauppojen aukioloaikoihin liittyen. Wienissä kaupat suljetaan arkipäivinä kahdeksalta, lauantaisin kuudelta, ja sunnuntaisin ja pyhäpäivinä kaikki kaupat on kiinni. Pelkästään kaupat rautatieasemilla voi olla auki kauemmin ja myös sunnuntaisin. Mun piti aina suunnitella ostokset etukäteen. Yhtenä päivänä lähdin ostoksille ja koska olin silloin työtön, en seurannut pyhäpäiviä niin tarkasti. Vasta perillä tajusin, että oli pyhäpäivä ja kaikki kaupat oli kiinni.

Ootkos ite oppinut suomea vai oletko suomalainen, kun tää vaikuttaa aika hyvältä suomen kielen taidolta jollekkin henkilölle, joka on syntynyt itävallassa. Ei ulkomaalaiset näin helposti opi puhumaan näin hyvin suomea.

@@jout738 Olen kotoisin Puolasta, mutta siihen aikaan asuin Itävallassa. Nyt olen asunut Suomessa jo yli kolme vuotta.

I think the hours in Finland are better than in many other countries. Shops in Germany are closed on Sunday and even in England they are limited to 6 hours trading on a Sunday. So it could be a lot worse. For the post office I have not been to a dedicated post office in Finland for over a decade since postal services are mostly outsourced to supermarkets and are open supermarket hours (eg 0700-2100). Even a big town like Hyvinkaa in the south does not have a "post office" anymore.

Hey, your videos are very helpful, but I recommend keeping them short, as people like me might watch it more than once. So if it's too long, one needs a lot of will power to go through it

6pm? That's late!😂🤣🤪 Here in Moruya, maailman perse, the most popular coffee shop in town (Alfresco coffee roasters) closes at 3:30pm during the week, 1pm on a Saturday and is closed entirely on Sunday. Red Rose café closes at 3pm. Meanwhile, Blue Heron café closes at 2:30pm.😳🤦‍♂

Thanks, maybe you could do a video on some finnish animals like karhu, hirvi or ilves. Or even simply some pets :) I would love to learn some animal vocabulary/stories!

Excepted for the restaurants (eating at 5 almost gives me goosebumps), those opening hours seem pretty similar to what's done in France, especially the Social Security offices and the Post office 😆

Well, supermarkets are open late, this is why I don't talk about them in the video. But yes, restaurants or alcohol shopping before 6! 😂

Tilanne suomalaisessa pikkukaupungissa on yhä parempaa kuin aukioloajat pienessä brasilialaisessa kaupungissa: mikäli matkustat São Paulosta tai muusta osavaltion pääkaupungista ulos, ole valmiina faktaan siitä, että kaikki supermarketit ja kaupat ovat suljettuina suunnuntaisin. 😂
