its a pretty good looking chair - i like the honest review, makes me believe something when I see negative points as well as positive points. its like when im buying from amazon, I tend to focus on the 1 star reviews and see if their problems matter to me at all. Always trust the Kitguru reviews as you always mention issues and never really fixate on one point too much to cover the whole thing.

Assuming you’re being honest i really appreciate the real review. It’s really hard to find an actual honest review now days on TH-cam. Even ones that sometimes say they are not. But yours seems genuine. I spent 2 weeks trying to find an un-sponsored review of a tactical flashlight i was trying to buy for my rifle and it simply didn’t exist. Every single video was sponsored and were all overly positive, while actual users on Reddit were more 50/50. So that being said i really appreciate your honest review. I’ll subscribe for that.

Amongst other things the seat was very uncomfortable with the way I sit. But the worst part is the seat was so low!! I'm 180cm (5'11) and the highest setting was way too low for me. I sent it back. Still haven't found the right chair.
It's not a bad chair, but absolutely not for me.

moral of the story (as usual), stop buying chairs online until you've had a chance to actually try them in a shop for free.
I think this might be one of the only non-sponsored, unbiased reviews of a Sihoo chair on the whole of TH-cam, good on you for ignoring them and not bowing to the pressure.

I preordered this chair... I like that the Herman Miller Aeron was an inspiration for it.
At first I didn't like the seat, it was really uncomfortable. But now, a month or so later I've gotten used to it and it's very comfortable to sit in for long periods of time.
I love that the mesh is very breathable, the headrest is a nice addition and overall the build quality is very good for the price... so far at least.
I love the dynamic support, the armrests are comfortable and the chair is really really comfortable when inclined.
My only complaints are that the armrests are a bit too high by default, it was kind of a hassle to assemble them and it's a shame that the headrest and armrests don't click in place as well the fact that the chair only has 3 incline angles.
    Overall, 8/10.

    *HONEST AFTER-BUY REVIEW*
I’m 5’11, 75 kgs. The chair it’s confortable, lumbar support is doing the job, I’m not getting any pain anymore and I work remote and sit almost 8 hours a day, maybe more if I’m playing too.
The “problem” of this chair i consider to be the seat, because for me is at the limit , and would appreciate if it was bigger. It’s a bit small for me and is located too far back so the tendency is to slip sometimes.
if it could be adjusted forward a few cms, the problem would have been solved.
The headrest it’s ok, but it’s a bit odd to me because you can’t “fully” adjust the height.
It’s very confortable inclined and the lumbar support is doing the job.
At this moment I’m pleased with this chair but my advice if you want this chair and you are a tall person , maybe it’s not for you .
The height and weight you should have I think it’s 180 cm and 80kgs max.

For me at 5'11"/180lbs and the chair at the lowest setting it is still painful after a short time. The issue is the depth of the seat is not adjustable and is far to small for my leg length.

@@dillingerdan The Sihoo Doro c300 only comes in one size which is part of the problem. They claim it supports 6 foot and 300 lbs, but realistically, I wouldn't suggest it to anyone over 5'8. Also the way the lumbar forces you forward to the edge of the seat and just isn't ergonomic with no adjustments other then "auto". My outseam is 38 inch, inseam 32 to better show my leg length. The other thing, it wasn't just pain, my thighs and butt would go numb in spots after about 20 minutes of sitting in it. I've already returned it and started looking at different chairs, leaning towards the ErgoChair Pro right now, I only worry it might be too big, but it has better adjustment too, as well as a higher price to match of course. If that's comfortable for a guy JayzTwoCents size (6'2 and a bigger guy) I think it'll work for me. I am very open to other suggestions though, finding a new good chair has been a pain in the $@%.

The Sihoo chairs are comfortable but the ordering and customer service lacks a lot. I placed the order for this chair on January 28, on the sihoo website it says that their shipments usually take about 10 days. A few days later I received a message that there was no stock left (when making the purchase, it did not say that they were out of stock, so be careful when making purchases) and that they would send it to me at the beginning of March. I asked them for a refund, at least they were quick to give me the €10 shipping fee. Finally they told me that they would ship my order on February 20. It is February 22 and my order is still in "preparation status." Also the chat on their webpage doesn't work everytime I ask about my order so...The chair is probably good because I already tried another one from a friend and it is quite comfortable, but the shipping is terrible.

Great review, i personally do not trust Influencers or Brand Ambassadorks when they either 1. Get paid cash to make a review or 2. Get to keep the product when the review is over as even the product is considered a method of payment, though many content creators argue this. However, if you have to return the product once you finish reviewing it, then i dont consider it a sponsored video. However to stay afloat and keep a channel alive people also need to understand that paid or free product sponsorship may be necessary to keep a channel running unless people are willing to do that patreon thing to support a channel But that's just my own opinion.

They offer 'free 30 days return warranty' but it's a trap, the return must be done within 3 days after delivery and they must have acknowledged receipt of the Chair in brand new condition (any slightly used chair would not be accepted) by 30 days before you can hope for a refund. Any failure in one of these steps voids this 'warranty'. So you cannot really try it for 30 days.

Those click style adjustments are really awful I would never get a chair that uses them.
I have seen them get forced beyond their normal bottom point during shipping before and you pretty much have to use a hammer to get them working again.
And it's really easy for them to shift out of the position you want them in since there is no locking mechanism.

do not consider this chair folks. this chair and alot of the same appearance types comes from the exact same factory in china and it sucks, materials will deteriorate within 2 years and the mesh will loosen after a few months.
all Sihoo did was reband and change a few specs from what the factory catalogue

Thanks for the review 👍🏼 I was about to buy this chair because of the price but you showed the flaws of the design which will really annoy me. Have to look further for a decent chair I can use for gaming that doesn't cost 4000 euros but more around 500 or less.

The lack of being able to change the recline level is not true. The chair stays in whichever recline position you are and doesn't push against you nor does it let go. You can also lock the position.

I'm 5'11"/180cm and 180 lbs/82kg and having the same problems. The biggest issue by far that's leading to pain is the seat doesn't have enough depth for my leg length. if your legs are short its great, a friend of mine that's 5'4"/162cm fits it perfectly.

pressure for good review and incredibly aggressive marketing campaign...classic Chinese company acting like they're CCP. Anyways, about the chair, just 3 angles on the back and uncomfortable seating most likely because of cheap plastic skeleton that sags under weight, it might be cheap but I sit too much at the desk to waste my back on cheap seat.
