Hi all, finally back to my laptop. Uploaded this on my phone after the start and didn't manage to add all details. This is based in Christchurch, South Island - New Zealand. Event is called SYDS Run.
Last week, I was a passenger on honda tmx 125 (aka cg125), the seat is too soft which turned my legs into squatting. It made me realize that the suzuki en125 (thunder 125), was better in seat since the foam is a thinner for back ride.
😅We were staying with relatives on the foothills above Halswell... now I know why, on such a beautiful, clear day, the smog was so much worse than usual! Sorry, just teasing! What an absolutely fabulous event! Is there somewhere we can read more about it? Who was "Syd"? Is it for a charitable cause? With promotion, and media involvement, it could be a great fundraiser. Thanks for the video.
Syd Falconer was a bloke who used to do a ride on the closest weekend to his birthday on pedal mopeds. It was just him and his mates but it continued till he passed. His son kept it going and another bloke Aaron Card took up the running of it for a few years before he too sadly passed. It's still going though and they raised a tonne of money for charity at this event. ridermagazine.com/2024/02/05/syds-run-if-you-cant-be-fast-be-spectacular/
hahaha looks like another day in Vietnam.. slight correction, there should be mum and the kids on there along with their shopping and various building materials. then it would be Vietnam.
Or Taiwan! Love the huge scooter bays at the front of the intersections. A gazillion scooters taking off when the lights turn green is fecking awesome.
