To think they ran this Suzuki hand grenade in hill climbs gets me every time. You had to get the car going fast enough for the wings to push it on the track or you were dead. The entire time span this car existed was manifest racing insanity. hey Suzuki, thank you. And Gran Turismo, thanks for letting us enjoy just a bit of it. Fun video, Victory right at the end. Real clean lap too. Well done.
Wow, I remember when this game came out. My mom worked at a video rental store and rented GT4 as soon as it was available for my brother and me. I think it was around the time Napoleon Dynamite came out. I found a copy at a thrift store last year, time to play it.

There was something eerie about the camera showing how each opponent vehicle starts while the countdown is still going. I don't know why, the feeling is just...abnormal to me.
I cannot stand waiting such a long time between attempts. I will never understand why Polyphony does this. Im patient enough to try, fail, retry and pause and think over my mistakes by myself. I dont need the game forcing me into a full minutes of recollection. If anything it gives my A.D.D. brain too much time to forget when and which corners to attack, and my mistakes from a moment ago. Maybe for some the over a minute long wait lets em cool off between runs but for the me… the being forced to wait is more frustrating than failing. And before someone suggests ‘save states’ i am a mere peasant, console only player. That includes the old games

The power gap between the Escudo and the GSX is absurd when you think of the car selection of Suzuki models, at least compared to other brands lol
