This is great..I enjoyed this video so much. I’m Vietnamese, never been to HaNoi, never had those “young people” snacks because I left the country 30 years ago when they didn’t have those snacks..so thanks for sharing your experience. Very interesting video. Love that you two are adventurous 💕
Really entertaining video 😂12:12 she was saying that having 4 dishes for 2 is a lot. At that point you two were in the most densely populated part of the city at rush hour - complete madness, really bold choice of yours to make an excursion to that area. Plus you could look up for “Kham Thien bombing” (the name of the street you were in) if you’re interested in the history
Hahaha it was accidental we just went for a walk away from the city and this is where we ended up! The people there were funny. Thanks for that I'll look it up 🙏
That was a great video...the end made me laugh so hard when he said, "I don't speak English". Bwhahaha!!! Yeah, the stuff you ate at the end is popular street food in the south. The Vietnamese pizza also has a version where it's folded over and eaten. The shredded rice paper salad always looks so good to me, but I think it needed to be mixed up first before eaten...hard to mix in those containers. It's called "banh trang tron". If you watch Sonny's of the Best Ever Food Review Show, I think he featured them in his Vietnamese food for $1 videos a few years back.
@@EllisWR Honestly? Your Vietnamese was WAY better than Phuc Map or Max McFarlin considering the length of time they spent there. But both Phuc Map and Max have actually picked up their learning skills the past year and are doing quite well now. And you're 100x better than Sonny who has lived there for like 7 years and is married to a Vietnamese woman.
Hahah thankyou so much 🙏 we did no lessons or anything just spoke to people everyday and tried to learn vocabulary etc, if we come back for longer I would 100 percent learn properly
Hi guys, crossing the street in Vietnam looks scary. Don't they have traffic lights? Watching this at 9:39 a.m. while having 2 croissants and a cup of tea, but wishing I could eat what you two are eating. Looks really dilish! 😋
Hey Panna it is always crazy to cross the road bikes never stop going! I think vietnamese food might just be better than croissants hahah! Have a nice day
@@orrgazmo I can understand that completely hahah, we'll say something, then theyl say it back ever so slightly different. But they don't understand what we say hahah
Actually 5 thousands for each donut is quite reasonable. Should have bought more to support that honest merchant. I would charge you triple if I was her lol.
5000 for 1 donut is the right price, with inflation going on at the moment 5000 is dirt cheap, nothing in Vietnam now cost less than 5000, even lottery ticket is 10.000 for one .
Thanks for explaining. I was just unsure! I thought with things like a huge bowl of bun thit nuong or seafood noodles costing 30k VND it would have been less!
@@EllisWR If you were to buy Chinese dim sum in Vietnam, those little meat balls often cost 5000 each, or 5 for 20.000 same goes for these donuts and mini cakes. When people eat a full plate of dim sum usually cost them same as noodle soup 30.000-50.000 dongs.
If you enjoyed the video please 'Like' for the TH-cam algorithm! 🙏 Cheers!
hey ellis, which country can you go shoot rpg and ak full autos? is it cambodia, thailand or vietnam?

Hilarious! Hanoi looks like so much fun and you two are great 😊
Cheers Gareth I appreciate you!

Hahah it was intense in there, I couldn't even get a game in!
Like fresh spring rolls
So delicious thanks for watching
So funny when he says I don’t speak English 😂
Hahah i was ashamed, my vietnamese was that bad...
@@EllisWR my wife is half Vietnamese and she said its ‘that’ bad 😂
@@orrgazmo Oh no hahah. Its well difficult you have to nail the pronunciation perfectly for anyone to understand

Haha we didn't actually want one we just bought it to support her 🙏
After visiting many countries, which country do you think is the best and most pleasant to live in?
That's a tough question! I really like Armenia for the climate and landscapes but Thailand and Vietnam for the incredible food!
I got told off by an old man not to wear Vietnamese flag T-shirt because I am not a Vietnamese when I was there around 2005. Much different now.
Really how strange! Everybody has been really nice!
There are a few sales elements begging tourists to buy, it's a shame, we apologize to you.
my english no good 😂
Aha don't worry nobody in Vietnam has annoyed us everyone is friendly and honest. We don't visit tourist areas!
u looks like ken, germany one
No way you think?!
👍
Thanks for watching! 🙏

Legend mate
I was shocked he ordered so much of those "snack food" still good tho lol
Ahah no idea what it was
I think everyone calls it Vietnamese pizza.
I see Mark we had no idea what we were even ordering was a nice little surprise not bad snack food to be honest. Nice one for watching
