When your little feathered family are sitting mostly together, on the perch, they remind me of a mother's ring. They are like small gemstones, all different, all beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing them with us.
What a beautiful aviary! Your babies all look like they have really settled in & love their new digs. If I was a bird I'd want to live at your house! Your babies really love you & it shows just as you really love them. I wish you all the best in your new "bird house". Take care & stay well. Love to all the babies from Joey (cockatiel) & me. Joey goes bonkers when she hears the babies. She watches on my phone & calls to them & even looks behind the phone trying to find them. Lol Take care & stay well. Love 💗 & Prayers 🙏, cutiekeet & Joey

Most excellent podcast does my heart good watching your critter crew and your husband deserves a big raise for the outstanding work! Have a most wonderful weekend & thanks
Yeah they are beautiful ❤️❤️ and just got an Alexandrian parrot like 6h ago he is a bit scared but the video's have been calming him down so thanks for your content and myself love all the videos so keep it up
I just discovered your amazing little birdie family & I was absolutely mesmerized at how loving, adorable, intelligent and gorgeous they are! I'm so sorry to hear of your family's health troubles & hope they get better soon. Can you tell me how you first got interested in these precious little birds? I just can't get over how loving these little guys are, and I was bowled over when they actually answered you! I never knew of a parrot that could answer a question! I thought they only repeated what you say!! They sound the Munchkins from Oz, Now if they could learn to sing The Lollipop Guild! Much love to you all!
Excellent job on the aviary! Frank is a talented builder and I love your ceiling fans. A friend of our had a cockatiel that flew into a ceiling fan while it was running. Poor bird could never fly again after that but she had a great life for years after she healed. Don't know how you actually spell her name but Ellie May has such beautiful coloring! Gosh she's pretty!
I missed this one I'm glad the algorithm shot this back at me what an AWESOME AWESOME setup these guys have .... You guys are so wonderful (all in) at putting their well-being first and foremost in your lives You can see it all that detail/ vids - that is such an great crib they have !!💖 Tell you what -- Hey Dunk-Dunk save me some chop I'm packing my bags !!!! 🤣🤸🛫🛫🛫 🌈💖
Wow! Yall did a fantastic job! It's just amazing. It's so wonderful to see how much your babies love you and what a fantastic feather mommy you are. Such an inspiration! Happy holidays!🥰
Amazing new digs! What is the warmest and coldest temps you can allow the flock to be in? I live in Florida and have central air on always. What’s too cold, or is it more related to draft that leads to illness? I wonder if parakeet budgies can be in the same temp range as your little guys and gals. Each of your flock is so special and wonderful -like real children. 💕
I'd give anything if my precious Jessie was there with the flock! I bought her/him in May from a pet shop and have had a VERY hard road with this baby. From what I know jessie is 1 yr old in May. I've spent hours and hours and hours...talking to, singing to, setting with. Even letting get out of the cage but getting jessie back in is so tramatic that I just hardly do it anymore. If I could leave out all the time I would but for its safety I just cant! Now she just paces constant and anytime I get close to cage to feed ect. She flys down to bottom scared to death like it's the first time all the time. She hardly will ever make eye contact. Just breaks my heart and I wish she knew how much I loved her and would come out and live a much better healthier life with the family!! She is a beautiful green IRN with beautiful long blue tail feathers. When she hears your babies she comes to life clinging to the side of the cage and hollering back...brings tears to my eyes!!! Sorry I wrote a book in your comment thread just so heartbroken for her and any tips would be soooo greatly appreciated!!! Sometimes I wonder if she has limited eyesight. I know she is not blind because she gets around too good for that! But it's like she does not see things real good if not real close but that is even hard to determine...or like maybe just seeing shadows. I've noticed her eyes never pin...not sure that is any big deal. Anyway, have a great rest of the day and thank you so much for your videos...we love them all!!!!!
Some Ringnecks are just take time to warm up...I had one green female and she was precious 🥰. She was loving and cuddly from day one..not sure what happened...but she died within a year...I had her tested and Vet. Still couldn't find anything wrong😥...the place where we got her...the store owner gave me another one...a blue male...this one was wild and wouldn't let us touch or go near him! Complete opposite from Mimi. Much later, we got an Umbrella Cockatoo...Skye Blue and the Cockatoo didn't get along...we gave Skye to our banker😏now we just have my brat, the Umbrella Cockatoo..🥰 💙💙🕊💙🕊💙💙
BEAUTIFUL Aviaries. I bet your birds are loving it. What kind of 1/2 grid wire is that? Where does one order that from? Doesn’t look like the stuff that’s at Home Depot or Lowe’s.
It's ½×½ stainless steel welded wire. Strong and will last forever. I'm sure you can find it many places online but we found ours on Amazon about 4 months ago. At that time we were unable to find a long enough roll for us at 48" wide so we bought a 36" wide roll. I think for what we needed we bought 4 or 5 rolls.
@@ChatterboxParrots thank you for the info on the wire. Gotta love Amazon, I would have never thought of that. Right now I’m trying to locate two cages for my conures that are stainless steel.
Wow!! Absolutely love your set up, can I ask about the fans,? Since birds are so dusty, would you be able to easily clean the fans to keep the motor from oveheating?
We do get storms. We are in Louisiana but are enough inland that most hurricanes are no longer hurricanes when they pass through. I don't evacuate being that we have so many but they also don't sleep outside. We have talked about buying a trailer to attach to my husband's truck that would need to be modified should we need to pack up and leave.
We have several days where it would get to cold for them to be outside and enjoy but this weekend we are adding weather resistant vinyl to be able to use that will roll up and down. We also bought safe heating elements to keep outdoors too.
I'm so far behind on current events in your lives. I recently found out something happened to your beloved Mardi. I am so terribly 😔 sorry. Mardi was so sweet. I have no clue what happened. I just read about a Mardi plush coming out. I would love one. He was so beautiful. Please let me know when it's available. I ❤ you for it. I'm so sorry for your loss. That video of him brings me to tears. It's beautiful.
How did you get involved with Indian Ringnecks and other birds? Everyone side steps the obvious questions of: what does all this cost and where are you located. Obviously, for security and personal reasons , neither need to be answered. May I coin an old cliche. " I take my hat off to you! "
A good majority of pet stores get their birds from breeders, jack up the price and often give less attention. Guess it would depend on the store itself. Not all breeders are reputable either so make sure you ask all the right questions . The other alternatives would be a rescue or look to rehome one but beware of scammers.
Wow this is soo beautiful hi babies give me kids talented workmanship now they have their luxury pad Very lucky and cared for birbs Enjoy babies ❤️😘🐦🐦🇦🇺🎁🎁😇
As of right now this is what it will have to be. Lighting has presented an issue in certain areas. The playstands we built with the manzanita are on castors so they can be moved. As time goes on I'm more than certain we'll add more things and move things around a bit to suit everyone. Our next goal is to add a detached building with more space but we plan to add a covered and screened in walkway but in addition to that make a free flight path with strong but appropriate netting. That building will face this outer area perhaps helping with lighting a bit. I worried adding the building across from this space would block that natural vitamin D we love, the sun, which is why I plan to add a flight area for full sun exposure. Even further down the road because we are shelling out tons of money already, momma plans to add a in-grond pool. I guess in time I need a stay-cation but want to include them in all the areas safely. Time and money shall roll everything out accordingly.
You have a fantastic setup for your fantastic birds! I'm addicted to them. Thank you for being you!
