Brings back memories of how they suddenly wronged the girls in GFRIEND. Wouldn't be surprised if the same thing they did with GFRIEND happened to any of their other active girl groups which is scary.
What HYBE did to GFRIEND was appalling. Terminated their contract so suddenly that the girls literally wrapped up a Vlive just hours before the sudden news broke out. It was so sudden, their content creator didn't even know because they were still releasing pre-recorded videos AFTER the announcement. If this is how HYBE treated one of their successful girl groups, imagine what they can do to the group's now?
NewJeans - They had already planned on giving them a long hiatus for about 1.5 years.
Le Sserafim - They're just silent on all the scandals that have been plaguing the girls for the last 3 months now since Easy era.
Fromis_9 - They've been put on the shelf and supposedly haven't been paid yet in years.
ILLIT - Seems to be the only group that just started taking action yesterday for defamation, but previously had months and months of scandals even before pre-debut.
Based on this type of track record, these girls in these groups have a good reason to be worried because they could just be GFRIEND out of nowhere.

Feeling so bad for Daniel and hoping he will get justice soon. After the lawsuit with his previous agency he was blacklisted by the kpop industry and the only way to make music was to set up his own agency. We thought that he wouldn't face any more hardships but it happened again though he worked so hard these last 5 years 😢

They did it to NU'EST (who legit had 10 year anniversary events scheduled after their contract renewal date by Pledis because Pledis and the guys planned on renewing. HYBE interfered.). I do think that Min Hee Jin took heavy inspiration from the Mexican group Jeans, and I also think the hybe took heavy inspiration from New Jeans for Illit. It's none of the members fault.
MHJ took huge inspiration from that era, not just Jeans. Jeans didn't invent that era. The concept was Y2K so it made sense.

Hybe then GAVE those trainees to NHJ and GAVE MHJ her own company. Hitman Bang personally loaed MHJ money to buy stock in Ador. New Jeans would not exist without Source Music. Hybe employees hate girl groups. They mistreat all of their girl groups. I basically feel bad for Newjeans,Le sserafim and ILLIT. Girls didn't do anything but receiving hate. And they even mistreat Fromis_9. They disbanded their most talented girl group Gfriend. Actually Hybe doesn't take their girl groups seriously. They don't even take care of boy groups. But boy groups are better treated than girl groups.
First, the employees are saying NJ will succeed without Min Hee Jin and they want to see it to prove NJ doesn't need MHJ.
Second, the environment NJ is in is good as MHJ and her staff already said they strut around like hotshots on the highest floor. They are queens, the employees are workers. The employees are merely frustrated by Min Hee Jin and one of them typed a sly remark about kalguksu in their forums (btw it was a hot topic so it's nothing surprising to find one comment about it). I would say the employees are under a lot more stress, whereas NJs are royalty with the best apartments, cars, bodyguards, makeup artists, lucrative brand deals, and much more income than the employees, all provided by HYBE (not Min Hee Jin). Yes, even the brand deals and income are all things HYBE give to NJ, not MHJ as stated in 4:11 of this video.
Remember, Koreans sympathized with MHJ because they understand workers' frustrations. Now when they find one comment joking about kalguksu, they show no sympathy. They don't even remember their own values. It's like they just pick and choose what they want.
Lol 16th floor is actually the worst floor. It is shared with hybe institute and there is lack of security and facial recognition. Also the reporters are only allowed to come to 16th floor for reporting while the others have much stricter security.
