Dr. David Clarke , I have been watching you for years. I have been with my narcissist for 30 years. The first book I bought from you was Enough is Enough audible. I want to say the audible is extremely important because I can listen in my vehicle or when he is not home. I have brought material home in the past from therapist and he would find it read it and use it against me. So in short the audible is highly recommended and important for people who can't use a hard cover or even read on the phone because they are always lurking.

May I humbly and sincerely ask after watching reading and listening to him for years how has it helped? Do you think that you'll stay in this relationship and these resources simply help you to deal with it? Do you think that it is going to help you to get out of it? Am I correct to assume that this information in no way will ever have any beneficial effect on the other person you're in the relationship with?

Wow,I can’t get enough of your content! My heart is shattered. Losing my 4 year relationship has left me empty and broken. I'm drowning in grief, suffocating under my own despair. My heart is barely beating..

I'm so sorry to hear that. I've been through a similar experience before, and it was a dark time. But a spiritual counselor helped me heal and find peace. Would you like me to connect you with him?

Yes. I didn't know he was a narc until after he divorced me.
I was researching narcs because my daughter called me one on social media. After researching, it's her. Anyway, I watched videos here and there.
Thank God, the divorce was lightening quick!

Amen, praise God for that. I know people that have lingered in the relationship for years and completely destroyed them and their health, some even die from it😢

You don't love him. You love the IDEA of who he could be. 🤯

It wasn't just the narc. He left them at his parents most of the time that he had them.
And they trashed me to the narc's many women. Truthfully, they actually chased off women by the way they talked about me. According to my daughter, one woman actually stood up for me and broke up with the narc🤣
I think it took him about a decade to figure out he shouldn't bring women to meet his parents.

Just curious, was fornication a factor in any of these issues from the beginning until now?

I was with my narcissistic husband for 26 years!! We had 5 kids between us (3of mine, 2 of his). He now has all 5 kids as his flying monkeys and I am alone. I just don’t know what is being said about me but I don’t know what to do from here?? Right after HE took all $$ out of bank he filed for divorce. (May 1,2024) then a month later he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and certainly has been using his near death surgery and cancer to get pity!!! Our divorce is final but he is trying to prevent me from assuming the loan on our house. Otherwise I think I am coming around??? I’m lost, I am in therapy and trying to wait for my kids to come back to me. (All adults)
    What would you suggest?

I did everything wrong as to reacting to him and his lies!! He accused me of cheating, which is NOT true!!! He has made me out to be the narcissist and I am so not the problem!! He is a covert narcissist.
