I don’t buy the DA positions. But it’s disappointing to see so many people claiming that this woman is captured. She’s just got a different view on the path forward. We need to understand that wherever we stand on politics, our political rivals aren’t going anywhere. We need to be able to at least acknowledge that, and learn to work alongside each-other.

    • @wayneerasmus7108

The problem is that when a black person works with a white person - the narrative is pushed that the black person is captured.
Scociety should Start looking at facts and stop accepting cancel culture and who can insult who the loudest.
Racism has reversed in this country, DA is currently the only party that works for ALL OF THE PEOPLE not only certain races.
I will also say that In these parties - they vote for the leader, the leader is not chosen by the other leaders - So if you want to change the DA leader, sign up, become a member and vote when that day comes - the people have that power, not the favorites.
DA truly is the most diverse party currently supported by ALL races in membership.

I also don’t buy the da tactics but its for a different reason. 2024 looks like the most competitive election and yet we still have basic messaging from the big 3. “We are gonna fix loadshedding” “we are gonna fix the economy” but they never come to details and dive into deeper topics/ issues. Its honestly boring to see how comfortable the EFF and DA are and to even see ANC relaxed in some provinces.

Dude, any black person in the DA is either captured or they're in the politics for their stomach. The DA is an anti-poor and, in particular, anti non-white party. How in your right mind do you become part of an organisation that seeks to continue the oppression and exploitation of your own people? All of them (maimane, lindiwe etc.) thought they could change the face of the DA from within, look where they are; certainly not in the DA. @djkobusmusicsa3590 what else do you want the DA to do????? The SAPS is managed nationally and NOT provincial, hence the DA pushing for control of saps within the Western Cape. Because the ANC has done fokol, because they know the DA will look bad. The DA took action and trained it's own officers (LEAP) which is essentially a local crime assistance force of 1200 "officers". The DA is going what they can, but they DO NOT CONTROL SAPS OR THE MANDATE OF SAPS. Fuck it annoys me with people seeing such progress in the province but fall for all the bullahit propaganda or don't even understand what's actually happening.
