      You also have to consider that fact that there are many people who assume they can identify competent and professional people, and when other people criticize said person for not being so, those who thought otherwise will ignorantly defend them rather than listen to reason or learn something. Like how your typical EFF supporter thinks Malema is the best thing ever but refuse to look at him objectively and also cant because its no secret to everyone else, EFF supporters are really really ignorant. Without knowledge you cant make logical, objective, or otherwise comparisons without a foundation, and so you are nothing more than sheep, being herded along. People lack being aware of their own limitations.

      @@Sterben-iw3yx I’m not really sure how EFF and their supporters are relevant in this discussion. However, with regards to this issue the proof is simply in his record. He has not been convicted for any charges against him. He did reign when Eskom was doing well. Anything outside of this is propaganda and politics. Eskom documents are there for anyone to freely rebut what he is saying.
      The DA ran to courts to stop the nuclear deal the media ran with that story. Today all experts tell us that nuclear is the way to go. The minister of electricity has just announced this intention.

As a fellow UCT Chemical engineering graduate, his engineering explanations on Boiler design are spot on. The ANC seems to hate anyone that actually knows what they are doing. They hate merit, because it will expose them all for being meritly bankrupt as an organization.

      The ANC had a mandate to make Eskom fail and Matshela Koko was a man standing on their way of achieving the grand-plan, he was so good that resuscitated the asset that in downward spiral. That move angered the Capitalists, remember that for capitalists to have a stake in power generation economy Eskom has to fail so that renewables come in as a solution.
      Eskom was the best managed power generator with access to cheapest high quality coal and healthy balance sheet, how do you make such a successful entity in the world fail? you need to capture the coal supply (GLENCORE) and capture the operations within to break it down. private sector had no chance of competing with Eskom.

I think I speak for most South Africans when I say that the majority just want cheap and abundant energy. We have not had it in more than 10 years. This is a disaster for all the youth coming into adulthood - we have the highest unemployment and inequality in the whole world. When the country's engine room (Eskom) is dead, the ship (our economy) will simply not move. We have not been moving for over 10 years.

    I have been trying to get Mr Koko to Mentor me. I'm not an Engineer but a Aircraft Technician and also a student of Politics and International. The level of discipline, Professionalism, confidence is one that leaves one at awe. So many black professionals have been persecuted on national TV, creating fear and timidity to many other young/old professionals......it's a message that we should know our place but this man just keeps on coming back and when given a chance to talk......everyone stops and listens. I hope he reads this 🙏

This, however, is massive. I've waited a long time to hear from an objective source what the stories are from the side of the fences of Koko and Molefe.

    • @Zam-mi9wz
      @Zam-mi9wz 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      You don't need to be an engineer to know that Koko stopped load shedding at eskom for atleast 2 solid years. That's why you can trust what he says to be true. Further to this, you also don't need to be an engineer to know that Koko won his case against eskom in the labour court after President Ramaphosa has decided that cabinet should fire him. You also don't need to be an engineer to know that his persecution is unconstitutional. It is equivalent to the corrupt use of state resources to persecute the only solution to our problem of loadshedding so that Ramaphosa can keep benefitting through companies in which he has shares in.
      If Koko is guilty of any wrong doing, it certainly won't be what he is accused of because he has already been vindicated of anywrong doing against eskom in the tender of his daughter.
      I know we find it difficult to believe others, but at least we should believe our courts. The other thing is the presumption of innocence enshrined in our constitution. Koko is to be presumed innocent until proven otherwise. Lastly, koko is no politician that he should seek to pool a wool over our eyes and he knows that there are many engineers who understands what he is saying and they will criticise ( correct) him if he is lying.
