My older brother has been locked up on 3 strikes since he was 18 years old, he's 54 now. He's been to pelican bay, high desert, San Quentin, and now in Corcoran. He gets a parole hearing in a week and is scared to death of life on the outside, he supposedly has a job waiting for him but what should he expect

I'm a white G.D from Chicago, & did 12yrs in the pen in Illinois the 90's, & did 6yrs in the West Coast(Nevada)from 2008-2014, & doing time was TOTALLY DIFFERENT! In the Mid West there's no race cars,such as a "white car/black car/mexican car,etc,EVERYONE damn near is in an organization, & we all ally with other race organizations,so blacks,whites & mexicans will ALL RUN,LIVE, & FIGHT TOGETHER!💯 But when I came to the West Coast I had to TOTALLY RELEARN how to do time because the politics, & because who I was affiliated with I was fighting left & right when I hit the level 3/4 yard,until people seen I was highly respected by the Midwest car, & by the G.D's on the yard, & wasn't the typical "Malibu's Most Wanted wigger", & was just a product of my environment, & was just an all around solid dude,so politics really didn't affect me. I was able to sell with blacks, & whites,without everybody tripping, & had an easy ride as far as a white dude getting a street gang,I can't say that for the other 99% of the whites that "tried" to be a "gangster" in prison. I'd suggest to nitty get hooked up as anything in prison,you acquire enemies YOU NEVER HAD BEFORE,until you wanted to "be down"...

In my personal experience from doing time in San Quentin and high dessert, politics is divided into 2 camps. On one side you have Nortenos, Asians-Islanders, and all black groups! On the other side you have Whites, Surenos, Paisas, and Native Americans! You only associate within your camp. To do business outside of your camp would put you into a treasonous position. You basically dont speak to the other side. If a riot pops off those groups within your camp are expected to back up those other groups within your camp and vise versa! In a dorm setting there is 2 bathrooms and 2 tv's. You only use the bathroom and watch the tv on your camps side! You are not allowed to site in the benches on the other sides tv or use their bathroom. to do so is an automatic beatdown! I ran with the Northern Hispanics in Prison. Our main ally was Kumi! If we fought they fought and vise versa! We also had a mutual alliance with the crips and bloods because we had a treaty with blacks in general. This only came into effect if we were fighting surenos or whites! If crips and bloods got down with each other, we would not get involved. If blacks in general had problems with any group from the other side we would get involved. Kumi is bay area 415 0r 10 in Swahili, so we had their back no matter what! In San Quentin The Blacks had their own area on the yard and we had our own area! We allowed the Asians and Islanders to enter our zone to work out and program. Why? because they are small groups and within the alliance! We were super territorial. we literally posted up at all 4 corners of our section and did not let anyone else in to our zone! As far as what they discussed in the video, It dont apply to us Northerners! We dont allow anyone to get high or use drugs in our group, why because you are to stay ready at all times! Gambling is prohibited, why? because we dont allow any individual to get the whole car into a wreck! Lots of other rules but I wont disclose them! You get the picture! Us Northerners are soldiers and we program like a military unit! Meanwhile the other groups are getting caught up in the BS! Totally different program! Anyhow, That is my 2 cents! Its been 16 years since i have been inside! Things have changed! Today I am clean and sober and fully in God's court! God bless!

They asked me what 23 stood for i said Michael Jordan and they laughed their ass off. I really didnt know. In Cincinnati its every white boy for his self no politics only commando mode.

Last year I got locked up for 3 weeks in twin towers with some Rollin 60's. I didn't know these dudes from a hole in the wall but I was around these dudes 24/7. After the 2nd day everybody thought I was a 60. I was like I GOTTA GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE!

My prison job was as a clerk ,so i asigned bunks. At the time(high desert) we labled as follows..Norteno, Sureno ,N. Black ,S. Black , Asian ,Bulldog(Fresno Mexican) then others including Native American. If any further sorting absolutely needed to be done a C.O. would tell us what to do. Of course if anyone wanted his homie to bunk with him ,a few packs of smokes or ramen and "Bobs your Uncle". Three of us worked that office, two black guys and myself (the only time i got to actually have a conversation with them) so every two weeks we got paid!! I was shocked at how much cash i had on release! Then i realized ,i never had to buy anything. Tobacco ,coffee ,food,i gave a locker full away on release. I bought an occasional soda at yard time. I counted my blessings ,because i knew it would probobly never happen again. Fortunately i never had to find out.
Hey, I subbed you, like your videos. Federal time, -041 (Minnesota). Been out 10 years +. Bank robbery, went to Leavenworth in 1999 later on went to Terre Haute when they opened the new yard in 2005. The deal in those places was we couldn't cell together and the dining rooms, TV rooms...were segregated but it was cool to talk out on the yard or in the work areas. I'm white, had a few black dudes I talked to regularly, no issues, we just couldn't live, eat or watch TV together. I'd heard that the East coast prisons were different than the Midwest and the West coast was different than either. I did my time in USPs, had high points due to current and prior violence, for me it was cool, I'm not a doper, had the good sense not to gamble or get involved in BS, I just worked Unicor, did my time and had very few problems. Good luck dude, life is better out here than it is in there.

I like the Steve Steadham style skateboard and clothes. I was a big fan of Steve. I skated in NYC and know most of all the big heads from New York I skated all my life and SF and all around the u it’s states. I’d like to hear stories about your skate life. I think it would make a good video. There’s a lot of pro skaters that went to Maxi max . Gator Rogowski , Christian Hosio and many more. I think this would be a good idea for a video. Hit me up if you need any ideas . I’d love to be a part of it. So many of us skaters went to jail or prison. Myself included.
Anyway these vids are great thanks for trying to teach the younger gen that prison and jail is just a waste of time.

I been watching for a while, i subscribed.
My prison job was as a clerk ,so i asigned bunks. At the time(high desert) we labled as follows..Norteno, Sureno ,N. Black ,S. Black , Asian ,Bulldog(Fresno Mexican) then others including Native American. If any further sorting absolutely needed to be done a C.O. would tell us what to do. Of course if anyone wanted his homie to bunk with him ,a few packs of smokes or ramen and "Bobs your Uncle". Three of us worked that office, two black guys and myself (the only time i got to actually have a conversation with them) so every two weeks we got paid!! I was shocked at how much cash i had on release! Then i realized ,i never had to buy anything. Tobacco ,coffee ,food,i gave a locker full away on release. I bought an occasional soda at yard time. I counted my blessings ,because i knew it would probobly never happen again. Fortunately i never had to find out.
Hey, I subbed you, like your videos. Federal time, -041 (Minnesota). Been out 10 years +. Bank robbery, went to Leavenworth in 1999 later on went to Terre Haute when they opened the new yard in 2005.
The deal in those places was we couldn't cell together and the dining rooms, TV rooms...were segregated but it was cool to talk out on the yard or in the work areas. I'm white, had a few black dudes I talked to regularly, no issues, we just couldn't live, eat or watch TV together.
I'd heard that the East coast prisons were different than the Midwest and the West coast was different than either.
I did my time in USPs, had high points due to current and prior violence, for me it was cool, I'm not a doper, had the good sense not to gamble or get involved in BS, I just worked Unicor, did my time and had very few problems.

Personally felt like I shouldn't have been on a 4 my first time that shit was fucked and when I went in a dorm full of mfs I had to learn a whole new process I hated it rather been on a 4 with just 1 person or myself
