First of all: Respect to DJ, that's one hell of a story!
Second of all: Respect to that CO, who saw that DJ changed his life and gave him 4 years off. Ressources (mainly taxes) saved, ex-prisoner empowered and relieved and the CO can work on another case. Being in the process of learning prisoner rehabilitation in my country myself, I find this very encouraging and not only because some of my childhood friends had to go to prison or jail themselves as well.
Inspirational i’m 10 years sober from the street. So relatable what a turnaround. It works if you work it, by the grace of God. Thanks for this amazing testimony. So powerful. One day at a time. 🙏🏾
Big Herc this was amazing brother, The whole vibe was dope. Keep them coming
I'm only 2 minutes into this video, and I can instantly tell this guy doesn't lie or try to make himself seem to be more than who he really is. He's so understated, not a loud mouth with a big ego.
Powerful interview Herc.
That moment of clarity in the life of an addict. I can relate and I’m very happy and thankful the brother Ghost man came through it a better man. It brings tears to my eyes when he was relating the raw pain. Damn.
His life is amazing, he reminds me a lot of Jamie Foxx the way he tells a story, just fucking fantastic.. I’m so happy for this guy.
Crazy life story, you can see how he's still enjoying his new life and mentality but the constant smile on his face.
This hit me hard. Being in active addiction seeing that there is a end to the madness and justification had a tear in my eye. Ty
In recovery myself and I hope one day you find the light brother 🙏 when you’re ready to quit you will. Stay strong
Get out bro. You can do it. Talk to a Dr. And get that help. Best thing I've ever done in my life. It's definitely brighter on the other side 👍
Same here...and no one knows it
Wow I just recognize dj
Just finished reading DJ’s book. That scene in the visiting room was very touching.
This dude's as cool as they come. He made the right plays and deserved all the good that came back from it. If he can do it coming from where he's from. We ALL can. Great interview.
AWESOME!! God Bless these brothers.
“Just send me some pictures dog, and continue to take my phone calls” I been in before I felt that💪🏽💯
“Don’t you know, who I THINK I Am” man that’s powerful. Sometimes you can’t get out your own way, until you let go of that EGO!!!
Hit me up on my IG let’s talk
That is appreciation of life he wasn't done yet
Mental gymnastics is what gets you through it
Powerful story
RESPECT ✊
Wow what an amazing story. Once you started to believe in yourself and your perception and outlook on life changed, you changed. Continue on your road to this thing that we call life.
Damn hella proud of this brotha his story is amazing keep pushing.
My dad did 17 years to the door so I have a fascination with the prison stories… he’s home now but I still have the obsession of the stories… things my 2nd time watching this one because it was truly truly profound…. I’m never going to prison if I can help it… but these stories are still super inspiring
God, grant me the serenity to except the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. Just for today.

@@rottenapplelifestyle1683 it’s surprising how people still make typos
By far one of the most successful stories that I have ever heard.
Been waiting for this next installment! Thank you!
This brought tears to my eyes bro. Redemption through determination.
I believe that Ghost interview was the most inspirational story ever presented by Big Herc! It would make an amazing and sensational film produced and directed by the right executive team!
This dude is just fucking genius. What a man, what a life. Thanks for sharing DJ
It's tight you got merch but I could never wear a t-shirt that says cheekbuster on it 😂 all love
You not a real cheek buster so it wouldn’t make sense
OFC only female cheeks
This is the BEST COME BACK AND COME UP STORY EVER.
Amazing Story!
Straight up... real talk. It ain't no game on the inside. Completely different language, laws and rules (mentality). You gonna learn if you don't know. What a beautiful transformation and great point of view of overcoming your past history. It really does not define you. Keep striving brother, you're an inspiration for others to follow. Stay Insired, blessings.
DJ IS SO INTERESTING AND WHAT A LIFE STORYTELLER! WOW!🙂👍🏾👏🏾🙏🏾
The universe is just waiting for you to see your own value - yesssss so true
I couldn't imagine a Worst Hell on Earth situation then to be Dope sick while locked up.
The best way to describe Dope sick is to imagine having the Worst Flu in your life while having a Nervous breakdown. Now add in your locked up. Hell on Earth.
You hit that right on the head.
That's crazy. How long does being dope sick last?
exactly what i was thinking a living nightmare would be bad enough at your own home let alone in the joint!
add in your bones aching, skin burning, you can't sleep for 5 days straight, can't keep food down, damn
@@OptimusPrime12190 depends on how long and how much you use. Plus your mental has a lot to do with it. Could be a week or could be a month.
