    There is a drain bolt there to drain the oil filter. Owners manual does not mention that.

    If you remove the mini skid plate you can avoid a lot of the mess. Must have installed the yoshi as soon as you got the bike. Cheers.

      I did haha Yoshi was on after 300 miles. Also good call. Was trying to "expedite the process" but oh well. :) Thanks for watching

    • @UrbanMoto
      @UrbanMoto  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yea since it was the first change wasn’t to worried about the screen. Will check next one 👍🏻 didn’t know there was an oil filter drain that would have been good to know 🤣

    I would recommend using 15w50 or 10w50 on this bike, also knn filter doesnt realy add anything good to the table

    • @UrbanMoto
      @UrbanMoto  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just curious what's your thought on the oil? Also yea I agree with the K&N but it was cheap so :)

    • @Syntax152
      @Syntax152 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@UrbanMoto if you do a little search on TT forums 10w50 or 15w50 is recommended because it holds up to abuse better than thinner 10w40 especialy in summer days. My ktms were all runnining 15w50 even that they had tighter tolarances than a drz, Not knowingly i also put 10w40 on my drz but will switch to 15w50 when doing my full stroker build

    There is a oil drain for the filter. You should try using it and avoid the mess.

      That is a oil pressure test hole meant to be used infrequently. Be careful.
