Funny about what he said about his money & daughter goe to Virginia Tech.
My friend and I have Fiberglass coaches too!!! We're out in Denver and I have a 1964 Dodge Travco 270 and my friend has a 1965. Love these and almost bought one before the Travco. Sweet rig!!! Cool seeing others with your style too. My friends and I are planning on drag racing ours several times.

Yeah it has a deeper and more hardcore following than Airstream it's just not as publicized.
Nice coach, always like seeing the other coaches at the shop to. I'm like 20 minutes from that shop so I am going to have to stop by. Great video!

If I could afford to buy one for myself, I'd keep as much as original stock as possible, while upgrading the mechanicals of the Motorhome. :)

We finished the rebuild of our 25' travel trailer last year and are currently looking for a new project. We're hoping to pickup a small vintage trailer in Jan to rebuild as a mom/dad "date" trailer.

Yes, it was filmed prior to leaving Florida just had not gotten time to edit it.

Wow! What a coach! Like no other. I have a 1989 Champion Ultra Star and I just love it. Your story is so much like mine although my RV isn't as fancy as yours but they put in the best of everything in mine. I bought mine cheap and the rest of the story is sweat equity. Love your video! What are the part numbers four your air bags please
The old style don't have a part number. Only one manufacturer for them and you have to get them from a specialty supplier. Alex Ferierra in Florida is putting together a replacement design from freight liner air bags. Thats the way to go I'm thinking.

I have found the gmc community to be rude. Don't let others fool you. I have a gmc class c and they were very rude to me for having a different gmc then them.

True, but it can be done cheaper.
Wanderlust Estate Don't want to skimp or cut corners on these. He was lucky and got it after they put $40 grand into it. Looks really good. I'm sure he gave you a few ideas :)
I like some of his upgrades, but he has lost too much of the GMC look in my opinion.

Wanderlust Estate Yes. At least with the looks. I like all the mechanical upgrades because that makes it safer. However, The the original GMC has a very special aesthetic that no other RV has.
Thats ONE feature I dont like about ANY motorhome ... So wide you have no room for error.
I think thats fair, but the GMC was so close to handling as easy as a van.
I dont care what anyone says ,THESE THINGS ARE A MONEY PIT !!!!!!! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ ENDLESS !
