Oh man, I'm so glad you guys made this vid. I'd noticed the "chipmunk cheeks" thing happening on mine and was wondering if there was a way to fix it. Awesome work! I'm a little nervous about the valance fix; seems like it'll be subject to a lot of vibration. Kinda wonder how well it'll hold up.
Instead of this Mickey Mouse wire setup why not just weld 2 L bracket on the front frame crossmember and screw each side into the L bracket and have it look a little professional.

Jim could you use an eye-bolt in place of the bolt on either side
Instead of the ell bracket or do those two bolts serve another purpose.
