    Dyson Sphere Program is a sci-fi simulation game with space, adventure, exploration and factory automation elements where you can build your own galactic industrial empire from scratch.
    Every playthrough will be unique: your universe will be procedurally generated every time you start a new game. There will be different types and distribution of stars, planets and resources. Will you manage to thrive and build your Spheres, no matter what the universe throws at you?
    As a space engineer, you are expected to design your interstellar factory and production lines, not to micromanage every small package going back and forth. You have to transport materials from one planet to another, forming interstellar transport teams that gather resources and bring them to where they are needed.
    Then, your resources can be transported between facilities through conveyor belts, and you’ve got the technology to help your buildings fit the grid automatically during the construction process. You’ve got the best tools COSMO can afford to build a massive-scale automated production line - the most efficient one ever seen in the universe!
    - Build a galactic industrial empire from scratch: start with a small workshop and improve it until it spans the whole galaxy
    - Develop your very own Dyson Spheres, a megastructure that orbits around a star harnessing all its power and energy, from the first screw to its completion
    - Explore a vast universe procedurally generated with all kinds of celestial bodies: neutron stars, white dwarfs, red giants…
    - Gather resources in planets of all types: ocean, lava, desert, frozen, gaseous planets…
    - Research new technologies to improve your factories… and discover the secrets of the universe
    - Enhance mecha fly, sail or jump through outer space and planets
    - Transport materials across the galaxy to your facilities: thousands of transport ships will flow endlessly to your factories and back!
    - Design the most efficient automated factory and production line
    - Customize your factory and Dyson Sphere to make it unique
    - Design a balanced power network capable of producing energy in all kinds of power plants like wind turbines, artificial stars, etc.

    You can reverse the direction of belts without dismantling them.
    Click on one part of the belt to open its menu, there should be a blue button with Reverse.
    Love your playthrough.

    Things to do with Fog bases: (sorted from most to least resource returns possible)
    1. Surround and farm them for resources not found on planet. Fog base will level up some each attack. Every 3 higher level the base, the better the loot drop. Have enough shields to withstand 5 minutes of hive orbital attacks and turrets( suggest lasers) for ground attacks, periodically.
    2. Destroy the base and drop down a geothermal plant, gain high efficiency power plant due to open core hole. May cause 1 hive attack due to this.
    3. Destroy the base and foundation over it, may cause 1 hive attack but won't have to worry about fog relay causing base respawn.
    4. Setup to persistently destroy base and it's respawns, leaving fog relay alone in orbit. Base won't level up and hive won't gain in aggression.
    5. Destroy fog relay persistently but periodically, base dies off without relay. Raises hive aggro and they resend new relays until the base dies. No resources to collect and levels up hive faster, so avoid this unless you have a fleet and want to thin out the hive herd from afar.

      Im trying to focus on my military now, theyre sending some strong drops and developing quite fast after landing i need to make more realiable ammunition and new turrets too.

      Is there a way to collect drops from the ground automatically?

      The battle centres both pick up items and repair buildings, which is very handy for an auto harvester.

    I didn't actually destroy the base on my home world. Instead, I set up a turret wall that was close enough that they'd fire at the flying rangers that were spawned which would trigger the rest of the bases more mobile forces, and my turret wall has been in constant war ever since then... which.. funnily enough lowers the threat level.. I worry about that exp level though.. not sure what that's going to do later. But.. I funnel the copper they drop back into the ammo factory and it gives me all the "dirt" I'll ever need to flatten the surface.. I used to always run out of that stuff for some reason.. so I'm glad I can just farm it. I won't wipe the base until I can put a geo thermal on it.

    great series so far! some things to note, you could of put ammo in a box and fed it into the turret instead of dragging a belt all the way there. on another note, if you click the belt its self you can reverse it.

      I like this way too but most of the time i endup pushing lines for future attacks, theyre kinda annoying in my playthrough now almost all the time landing on my expansion sometimes with 3 landers

    28:15 If you need to get somewhere else on a planet and need to know the shortest path, just open the planet map and look at the thing you want to go to before closing it. The planet will spin from it to you in the shortest path. Just go that way.

    I keep wondering how it can be that a planet outside the habitable zone can have coal

    • @Neo2266.
      @Neo2266. 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Used to be habitable eons ago? No other explanation really

    • @matthewbauerle7153
      @matthewbauerle7153 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It could be abiotic carbon deposits. The bigger question is if there is no life there would be no oxygen so thermal power plants shouldn’t work. There are planets with no atmosphere which also shouldn’t support them.

    • @shawnlebbon
      @shawnlebbon 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s all in one deposit spot, maybe it came from a chunk of another inner planet that broke up and long ago crash-landed on this outer planet?
      (Yes, I’m aware this is a silly reply that doesn’t apply to other planets in this game; but we also know the actual correct/boring answer is ‘it’s a game’.)

    • @Neo2266.
      @Neo2266. 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It being a game doesn't make it so that inhabitable planets must have coal on them. The devs not realizing it is the reason. And it may one day be patched out.@@shawnlebbon

    • @AbsoluteHuman
      @AbsoluteHuman 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      They always have very little so I'm sure the devs intentionally placed some coal on all the planets so you'll have some means to fuel the mech and not get stuck on them. Or maybe have some temporary energy generation for a little base @@Neo2266.

    37:50 haven't you looked up into the high air above their ground base/outpost? There is a sky base that rebuilds the Ground base as long as their foundation is there. You could also instead of closing it place a geothermic generator on it to use the magma inside of the planet to produce a lot of energy. Its a feature like a boni for clearing the enemy away. This would also make the sky base fly back to their swarm in space. I would Not recommend to destroy the sky base (through missle turrets or something) because this pushes their swarm anger and could make them launch a space attack against one of your settled planets in the system and this would cause a lot of damage to your builds. As i say just use the boni.
    And a hint: if you dont watch your planets or secure them around the world they maybe send new settlers to settle on your planets on an unsecured Spot

    • @KatherineOfSky
      @KatherineOfSky  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Of course I am aware of the sky thing.

    • @anonymos.videos
      @anonymos.videos 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@KatherineOfSky yeah and as long as the foundation is not filled up with concrete or an geothermic mine in will rebuild the base over and over again

  • @stokescomp
    @stokescomp 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

    You can put a geo thermal plant on the space you killed their base instead of filling with foundation for some free power.

    Is it worth using the proliferator on the coal? If one coal adds 1.25, then using it on itself would be a net negative? Unless I’m really misunderstanding the mechanics lol.
    Edit: Thanks for the help peeps, I will be proliferating my coal now XD

    • @richardholloway6189
      @richardholloway6189 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think 1 coal can proliferate more than 1 item

    • @CattyRayheart
      @CattyRayheart 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      1 coal makes one proliferator spraycan but each proliferator spraycancan can spray 36 items? somethign like that, so it's 1 coal to give extra production to 36 coal, so 36x1.25 = 45, or 9 extra coal so a net of 8 extra coal from the proliferation.

    • @astramancer
      @astramancer 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      T1 proliferation juice sprays 12 times and +12.5% products. 1 coal = 1 proliferation, spray 12 proliferation for 13.5 proliferators for 13 coal vs 13 proliferators for 13 coal. It's *technically* worth it, as long as you aren't paying fuel for power.

    • @larsongates7745
      @larsongates7745 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not only should you spray the coal, but also loop back the proliferator out put so it gets sprayed.

    actualy Rocket turrets are way better for that and later defence as well. only 4 of them and 100 Ammo is enough to crush the enemy base. It don't hurt to have about 8 copper turrets in froint of them.

    End of a conveyor in the proliferator feed is not connection friendly, actually tink you tought me that in a previous run ;)
    The reason the painter rotates when changing belt is that it wants to keep the orientation regarding the way the belt is running, sure is annoying sometimes but i kinda get the logic behind it at the same time
