I completely disagree. If the student is able to challenge him/herself and play this piece it is perfectly fine. hard work pays off no matter how hard or how old a person is.

If I remember correctly, was the bow staccato added by editor Rudolf Hindemith and not the original intention of Golterman himself. I don't like the sound of the bow staccato there, for me it sounds too technical and so i didn't use it.

I love this work, and for the most part, it's played well here, but the bassoon is horribly out of tune here.
