small tip: in phase 1 stay away from crownless at certain distance, and he will always use the dash -> 4 hit combo, do dodge counter and keep distance again, repeat. 1:13-1:23 this part

Another small tips: During phase 1 when he does 4 hit combos, the 3rd hit (the double hit drop kick) if you use short character on field like Verina, you have to do double dodge. Shorter character have a bit lesser i-frame time. During phase 2, you can kinda skip dodging the ground burst hit (after he slam his spear or kicks the ground) by delaying your dodge counter that prolong your i-frame. There is someone on youtube that explain about delaying dodge counter
Realised I was doing this all wrong when my stamina was low the whole time.. button mashing doesn't work here and I'm really glad Kuro's combat is genuinely challenging. Still going at it with level 80 wish me luck! xD
One more thing to note about crownless that not a lot of people realize, He actually is coded to attack you the moment you press your attack. I have tested this multiple times but when he stands there holding his head or walks before his dart attack you press left click and he sucker punches you nearly instantly, or throws out on of the random moves from his pool. You end up having to dodge on reaction just cuz of this factor.

i beat crownless with rexlent way, that are counter dodge and break shield with many rotation. i use encore as nuke damage, yinlin for concerto or rotation system and baizhi for support. also use counter echo. yeah, rexlent says its true, you can feel crownless after many fight.
Sup rex realy good guide! btw have you tried playing at high ping like 200+ wanted to know if there was any truth to the ping reduces the speed at witch you can charge forte rumours and if its even a significant difference at all.
Laughs in Jinhsi (Jué literally lets you get high enough to dodge all of his mechanics) + Yuanwu (shield). She's ruined w/e shred of skill I had in this game. I'm gonna have to just Rover my way through encounters to actually learn them.

as a mobile player, I still suck at aix and memphis at diff 6 the others have distinguishable pattern, but man, Aix just suddenly launches homing missiles and memphis got clone jutsu 😂

I defeated mourning aix VI 4 days after this post, after 2hrs of fighting it. The camera is very bad, so I just don't parry and dodge everything. :D

Crownless attack pattern is very easy to remember and see. But Phase 2 makes it hard because of his speed.
True the damn slashing attack is somehow harder to dodge than his suprise attack.
