- Hey guys, I decided to do a Urban Range Test at a different spot in the city with the DJI mini 3 pro. Guys, this drone never fails to amaze me with its RC controller this drone can go at least 3miles in this amazing city.

What frequency settings are u working with in the city? I can personally only get a few hundred meters before losing signal and I’m in a small country village
@@shanepenfold9716 so I'm using the stock controller(rc) and using the occusync band switching.. In other words I'm not choosing 2.4 or 5.8 I'm letting the drone do it for me. Also I don't know where you live but I have the FCC model here in the United States That may be a reason why you can't get that far. If you're using the N1 controller just make sure you have a really good phone otherwise you won't be able to go very far as well I hope that helps?

Have ya ever got in shit for flying at that height? Just curious where i live 400 in the max
is there laws where you live or are they’re just regulations because if they’re just regulations you can break them all day without getting a fine or having any problem. I’ve never signed on to follow anyone’s regulations nor am I a one07 pilot I fly as a hobbyist and I fly for fun and that’s why I bought this drone. I’ve been flying for five or six years and nobody’s ever gotten hurt nor has anyone ever gotten hurt with a Dji Drone they are the safest drones in the most reliable drones on the market today and they’re the only Drones) I fly here in Philadelphia this way... Nice vid! Is there a reason why i can only go 4000ft away at 300ft altitude before i loose signal? I live in rural neighborhood so no tall buildings.
Good question! .. that's lots of reasons lol lol.. if your using your phone.. get a better one lol. That's always the problem.. if not and your flying with the RC then always make sure you're pointed directly at the drone and go up to 400 ft and when it starts to turn orange push through it a lot of times you'll get your white bars right back... Also try flying in a different direction.. hope that helps.. I hope you're subscribed.. 👍👍👍💙💙💙

Is this 2.3 or 5.8 I can barely get a mile with my mini flying at 300ft. And is it set to auto for channels?
It's both rich.. it's occusync 3 plus... Is that's what you have and you live in the USA you should be getting at least 1 mile no matter where you at... Try going a different direction.. and remember always point the controller at the drone always and if it gets red or orange pushed through it don't get scared and just stay there The drone will come back to you if it loses connection I hope that helps... Let me know if that helps.. also are you using the RC or your phone?

I can't find any videos about my question so I thought I'd ask you. With my Mavic Air 2 I would get warnings indicating when an aircraft is detected as well as an indicator on the map showing where that aircraft is. Is there such a feature with the Mini 3 Pro? I've tried to find it in settings but so far to no avail. Is it a setting I have turned off, or is it just not available on the Mini 3 Pro?

John is right.. no on the Mini 3 pro. Mavic 3 and air 2s. I think the Avata may have it? Lol not sure.. But I feel the controller vibrate ....and the DJI FPV drone drives the same Even planes are around.. the controller vibrates alerting me...

@@PhillyDroneLife Thanks. The Air 2 also has it. It's the drone I noticed it on in the first place. I'm using Flight Radar 24 right now for my Mini 3 Pro. What's nice about it is it gives you the calibrated altitude, ground speed, where the aircraft departed from and it's destination and more. All I have to do is have my phone handy with the app and I can avoid aircraft that are flying at a similar altitude as my drone and ignore those that are flying at, say 30,000 feet or so. You might want to check it out if you haven't already.
@@PhillyDroneLife Thanks for your response to my question. My Air 2 also had this feature. Though I kind of miss the feature, I since have found an app that does a good job of letting me know when aircraft are in the area. it also lets me know the altitude at which aircraft are flying and much more useful info. It's called Flight Radar 24. Even the free version tells me everything I need to know to avoid encounters with manned aircraft. You may even want to check it out if you haven't already.

Yeah. I've had that red stuff lol when I see it I immediately lower throttle and chill for a couple minutes to let the battery rest.. that's a must or you are doing down. 😱😱😱 How that helps a little lol

Circling the Evo was a cool shot! Not to mention circling the building which was the bomb! I hope the Drone Police don't come for you, I've never seen anyone fly a drone that high. I know other TH-camrs have had them contact them from seeing their video but that was freaking awesome either way 👍

@@MooooonRiverWiderthanTimMoon yes you probably shouldn't do that lol. Have fun at a park for a while.. I've been flying theses since 2016 and have over 3400 flights.. on my drones.. Most of then around here.. you will loose the drone if you don't know what you're doing around buildings.. enjoy it and stay close to yourself for a while then slowly venture out! How that helps. If you have any questions please feel free to ask...
