It’s funny how Yzerman likes guys with size and has passed on smaller high skill guys like Savoie and Benson but also drafted Raymond and ASP. 5’11” 174 isn’t small especially when you consider that Datsyuk was 5’11” 180 when he was in his 20s.

We don’t know what we have in Kasper,Mazur and Danielson until they get a chance to play in the NHL. I think Kasper and Danielson should get a roster spot and get some time playing in the NHL. You have to see what you have before adding players who will block them and keep using the excuse that they can be sent down without being picked up. I would rather see the young players play than to watch them until they are out of waivers. SY has to start thinking about his future and not just add players who are 29 to 30+ years old for too much.

I SY is going to see Kane go to a different team. We don’t need these players unless we have nothing in the pipeline where they are rating our Prospects the best in the NHL? If so then play what you can if they show they are ready. 3 players I listed are 2 way players and can score goals but they are not going to be able to get experience if they don’t have a chance to get experience. We are not a contender and we have to see if they can play well enough and Gauge where the players are at and if they need work you can still teach them and sign others.
