Thanks for the video. We haven't been through the town yet, so that was nice. We just started looking up in Ash Fork for some land. Meeting with a RE agent early November. He's already showed us a few properties. And those roads are no joke. He told us they have a guy who will grade a driveway or clean up the road to your property for $2k a day. Our concern is the quality of the ground for planting and getting a well in. Btw...your daughters adorable. Kids love camping and we love camping with our grandkids.
You know, I also thought about renting a dozer myself for about 4 days and then calling someone to level it off. Part of me wants to save a little bit of money and the other part wants to have fun on a dozer. lol
@@jackofalltrades12 my husband would definitely enjoy dozing! 😄 We're 65 & 66 and looking forward to having fun developing the property. If we end up buying it'll be nice to already know someone there. 😉
The apt building has been there for years, just a new paint job. You missed the new post office coming soon. Nice review of the area. The west end of town will be a T &A truck stop with food. There are a few guys in town to help with your road. Take care and have a wonderful day . Don't eat the berries these are good tp eat
I will be back in the area next month. If you happen to know the names of the companies or people that can help with the road, please send it my way so I can get a hold of them. Thanks for the info.
Those are Juniper berries, they make gin out of them, so I would venture to say you could eat them, but probably not very good unless to boiled them down into a syrup maybe? I am also looking to buy some land in or around Ashfork.
There are several 10-acre parcels as well as 2 and 5-acre parcels.Between Kingman and Flagstaff, there is still a lot of available land. The land gets cheaper going east past Flagstaff.
@@jackofalltrades12 jackofalltrades this was my handle from the late 80s till I retired several years ago as I started out as a painter and by the late 80s I was a contractor ,,,anyway got any leads on property in the area from Ash fork up to Williams or maybe out to Flagstaff,,well cool ,,thanks jack
