I would recommend 1tb at least for the projects. I have 2tb just for the projects, but I also delete a lot of the ones I don't need anymore. It's always hard to say how much storage space is needed, some need more, others less.
they develop hungry engines that cannot be handles by modern hardware (in most cases) while GPU performance cannot jump that high in the near future I wonder what's the point of these engines then? Like as if someone makes a game that cannot be played and everone buys it to benchmark and show off? The industry sucks really
@@eustacequinlank7418 4090 is already shit ton of power. It doesn’t make sense to run 1kw pc constantly unless you are very rich. I will stick to fsr and gpu around 200w max power draw
No matter what engine you use you can always use it to create a game so power hungry that no hardware can run it. That doesn’t mean that you can’t also use that engine to create a game that doesn’t require strong hardware. My GPU is nearly 10 years old now and it can still run some games made in Unreal without any problems.
@@UnrealBench Hello, thanks for responding. I would like to have access to the benchmark file so that I can also test it on my gpus. I have a pc with RTX 3090 and another pc with Nvlink RTX 3090s
@@criativiz183 Ah okay I see. The project is 54 GB, I don't know where to upload it. I've modified the electric dreams template so that I always have the same results in the editor, so I can't delete anything to make it smaller.
Can you help me decide between the 7800 XT and the 4070? I’ll be using it for gaming and game development in UE5. I’m a beginner with 3D games and modeling, and I’m unsure about which one to pick. The 16GB VRAM on the 7800 XT seems great for future-proofing. If I were to use ray tracing at a medium level while making games, would the 7800 XT be able to handle it? I'm just a bit confused about what to buy.
is there a big difference between UE 5.3 and 5.4? i wanna get a new computer and download 5.4, and i saw that this was tested on 5.3, so i was wondering if the results are the same or different
good idea, but you need better GPU to really test the CPU performance clearly you are bottlenecked by the 4070 when 5800x and 7800x3d have the same FPS
Thanks! Nice to see a productivity benchmark out in the youtube universe. Keep up the good work!
Thank you I’ve been looking all over for this!
You make valuable videos for content CREATORS, not just gamers. Thanks!
Thank you 🙏
your earned your self a sub mate , really good video.
Thank you 🙏
keep up the good and necessary work
You Earned a Sub
Thank you mate 💪🏻
BEST BENCHMARK ever, i was looking everyware for this, if you want you can make this tipe of videos and for other apps
nice video man 👌 i have a doubt , how much space do you need on your pc to work comfortably with unreal?

thanks man great work again, keep it up!

They wind up faking 4K resolutions with A.I.
I'm interested to see how far wattage gets pushed for PCs in a decade or two.

You clearly don't know much about game engines.
Have you had any issues with the amd gpus? Thank you for these tests!
Really interesting
Plz, send archive for benchmark in Unreal. Tks
What you mean with Archiv?

Just a quick question is hardware assisted lumen setting turned on (Can't remember what it's called exactly)
What you mean exactly? There many options that sounds like your setting 😅

As always I would say take the 4070 super.
@@UnrealBench4070 super is way more costly than 4070 in India that the reason why i said 7800xt or 4070( base model)
Thanks for a great Video ! Just one question - From 4.10 and forward - What CPU do you use ?
The Test System Specs are a Ryzen 5800x - 32GB RAM - on Win11

There is no big difference performance wise. 5.4 have only a bigger feature set.
Is core i9 12gen a good cpu for unreal?

how about arc a770?
Unfortunately, I don't have this card for testing

Lets go on to the full hd)) )))))) 2 k does not pull))))
Frame Generation AMD + 20 fps.
Increasing playback speed to 1.25 helps 'diffuse' the uncanny nature of the artificial voice rendering here 👍
Thanks for the info 😅 My English pronunciation is not yet good enough for videos... But I hope the video was informative
@@UnrealBench I like the style. The information goes in well!
Like a Shigawire imprint from a Filmbook in the Dune series XD!
@@UnrealBench I, for one, would prefer listening to bad english vs listening to this ai voice. Or german with english subtitles.
fsr more ugly so it pumps out more frames ? even on nvidia product lmao thank god we got competition
