- Defence Intelligence of Ukraine: Tu-22M3 was shot down by Ukrainian air defense. The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine said that on the morning of April 19, Ukrainian air defense had shot down a russian Tu-22M3 long-range supersonic bomber. This is one of the russian planes that launched a missile attack on Ukrainian territory on Friday. “The russian Tu-22M3 bomber was shot down at a distance of about 300 kilometers from Ukraine using the same means that had previously hit the Russian A-50 airborne early warning and control aircraft,” the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine said.

He realised he was down to a one seat margin and that the discharge petition would embarrass him. This was some excellent manoeuvring by our President, and the mature members of Congress who support Ukraine, and good work by the IC and the American people, in my view. He looked rattled to me. So I am very grateful that you bring us Ukrainian News that explains so much more to us, the information we ought to be told. And I know a lot isn't always good news but it is news we certainly do need to know about. Plus, good news is most definitely music to my ears! Where you mentioned oil refineries, I watched a TV News channels programme the other night, the host was interviewing Ukraine's Former Prime Minister, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, and I was so cross that the host rudely did not allow him time to respond adequately about how doing this targeting will actually help prevent equipment being fuelled by the refineries; that will be used to attack Ukraine. I actually felt compelled to apologise for our rude host/presenter publicly. And do you know what? Mr Yatsenyuk later posted a statement thanking our TV programme for allowing him to speak about some important matters on the programme... *that* to my mind, is genuinely polite manners. What a beautiful credit to Ukraine to behave with such integrity. I know the programme is called HARDtalk for a reason, it delves into some really tough areas, but our guys lack of manners (especially at the end) really shocked me.
Good manners speak loud and clear about a person. And our guy ought to have been taken the mental health aspect of what Ukraine and Mr. Yatsenyuk have been subjected to over the last ten, and two years especially. I am so sorry that he was not. I will be complaining to that TV channel. They do listen to the publics point of view, I know. I think they even reintroduced an old TV programme called 'Points of View', where they address viewers written complaints publicly.
