Going Up Table Mountain...Barely

For some reason I like torturing myself, that is why I went hiking up Table Mountain.
I mean, we couldn't be in Cape Town and not make the hike up, right?
To be honest, I never knew it was possible until I spoke to a few friends about it, but there are actually plenty of paths. We went up one of the more direct and safer routes, though it could be some rock scrambling a lot of the time.
Start early in the morning so you can beat the heat and still have a nice bit of shade and breeze.
Also, if you go up Plettenklip Gorge, park at the cable car and make the 1 km walk around to the start. That way if you come down the cable car, you are at your car.
