I LOVE Aldi's grocery store. During the pandemic, money got/is REALLY tight and I've been amazed at the amount of food I can get for such low prices!!! This is why I go grocery shopping and don't send hubby to do it. Hubby went shopping at Hannaford's and I swear he had about 4-5 grocery bags and it cost him over $265.00. (didn't include paper products or meet). So I agree with you Aldi's is awesome!!!!!
No Bluebell ice cream here in South Dakota. We usually just get whatever generic ice cream for our home freezer but we love going out to get soft serve as a family!
Yes to Blue Bell!! If u r not from Texas, u have been missing out on the world's best ice cream! I am so glad u r here in Texas and enjoying it...so many great Texas chains, Whataburger, Dairy Queen, HEB!! Always love ur hauls and you. @@RaisingBoys take the road trip down to Waxahachie for HEB. One trip every few months is sufficient. There are rumors that HEB is going to build a HEB in the alliance area (far north Fort Worth). They've bought land all over DFW for years and so far only Central Market has come of it. (CM & HEB are owned by the same parent company.) But Central Market has slowly phased HEB branded products out because they don't want to compete. But how is driving 1-2 hours to HEB competition unless they were actually planning to build? But who knows... I go to CM for specific products I can't find anywhere else. Fiddleheads ($25/lb this year 😭) which are only available sporadically between march & june. A specific type of coffee, rambutans (weird red spiky fruits), orechetti pasta and the occasional other item if the price is fair. But CM for many goods is more expensive than regular stores.
Blue Bell and Texas go hand in hand ☺️ Buttered Pecan is my absolute favorite, Moo-lenium Crunch is a good one too. Loved the haul, I wish we had an Aldi where I’m at in Texas but we are finally getting an H-E-B.
I got the hazel nut crunch chocolate bars and it's some crazy delicious chocolate. I'd rather have a small amount of decadent creamy chocolate opposed to say a regular Hershey's bar. both me and my husband were amazed at how creamy and delicious those chocolate bars are. I've tried them in a couple of different flavors and loved all of them 😋.
Good deal on pbj minis, we eat that lasagna for a quick meal sometimes ,good deal on chicken,yum sorbet so good, blue bell is good I like chip and mint or cookies and cream of butter pecan,the marinara good but here they charge 1.49 for the same jars everyone else pays .89cents for because not. Any stores no compitition,I love zuchinni to,I like apple and lemon juice,
I’ve lived in Texas all my life. Blue Bell is the ONLY ice cream. We love natural vanilla bean, milk chocolate, peaches and cream, pralines and cream, cookie dough, etc. I have a t-shirt that says, “I survived the Blue Bell famine of 2015”.
Loved your chair covers. They look very stylish! Yay, nice grocery haul! Just tried the Cookie Crisps from Aldi this weekend. My only option was the choc chip. Wow! My 6 yr old grandson & I ate the whole bag in one sitting! (Talk about no self control)🤦♀️

Raising Boys-I agree about having nice things! We used to. But we are on our 2nd round of raising kiddos as my daughter passed away 3 yrs ago from cancer. And it would be a vicious circle to replace things all the time from spills, drips & oops! By the time the youngest is raised I’ll probably be too old to care! 😂🤷♀️😂
LOVE the Aldi chocolate! The mint and orange thins at Christmas are the best! What does your dairy intolerant son do about cheese and ice cream and other dairy? My daughter is allergic (anaphylactic) to dairy and I am always stunned how many things have milk products in them!
Lucky for my son he is just intolerant, so he can have a small amount. So we just limit cheese, and other things with milk in it. It is so crazy once you need to pay attention to the milk, how much contains it..I agree! I wish I could help you with ideas, that must be very hard eliminating it completely.

If he doesn't like the taste or texture of that brand of lactose free milk, try to find FairLife. It is the closest thing to real milk I've ever had!!!!

Those chair covers are pretty and a great fit! Enjoyed seeing your haul! I'm just home from the grocery store today but didn't need much because we stocked up last week. Those biscotti look delicious for with coffee! My kids sometimes eat something small before we get a bigger family breakfast together too...they sometimes have nutri grains or a banana or a little pain au chocolat. Saves them crying out for breakfast until everyone's awake. Thanks for sharing. 🤗
I've tried Blue Bell drumsticks and they were amazing and I've never tried the icecream version now I might have to and I think if you have children you are always eaten out of house and home I remember a family members friends doing that because they were teenage boys lol have a great day

It was a long time before we could get Blue Bell in southern Indiana. It is amazing. I had flashbacks of eating ice cream like that when I was a kid.
