Great to see you in the flesh Alan and I loved your honesty and being so candid.Captivating and wish you all the very best onwards and upward my friend
Hi Alan, it’s always nice to put face to a name,it’s so good you got through your depressed times and are now happy with life, enjoy the rest of your holiday Alan
Two inspirational people, well experienced in the rough and smooth side of life. I've worked so hard to get by and pay a mortgage to the last £7k. Sick and tired of the UK now, I've another 9 months left and then look to move out to Tenerife, I'd like to buy land or property so I can enjoy what's left of my battered and bruised life. Watching people like yourselves keep me motivated in dark times. best of luck to the both you. kind regards Mikey P
Wow, what an amazing man to open up. Most men don't talk about their problems he's an inspiration to others. My husband died 11 years ago, and i had to keep my business going, which, at the time, I could have given up. I just didn't want to carry on . But with help from my family and friends, I'm still going and strong and running my own business, which is thriving 😂.Women also don't talk about how they feel, especially me, lol. Loved listening to him. He's so right how big companies treat you like a number these days 😮.
Rick/Alan, I tip my hat to you both. What a refreshing, honest discussion. I am stuck in this exact corporate sales machine/situation at present time and this has allowed me to see things a bit clearer and realise it is not an uncommon situation. Great work, Gents.
Finally got to watch in full on catch-up, well guys a great vlog, Alan I've got nothing but respect for honesty and you opening up and sharing some of you're darkest moments and if one person see's that there can be a chink of light at the end of a dark tunnel it can change their thought process for themselves, well done guys well worth watching.
this is one of the nicest and bravest vlogs i'v ever watched.the honesty oozes out of you alan and i have nothing but the upmost respect for you.from one scotsman to another .the old saying " ye jist get oan wae it" is out of date and mental health matters.i salute you sir.
Well Rick you’ve done it again, the Vlog with Alan was enthralling. The way you let Alan speak and didn’t keep butting in You were very attentive ( the salesman in you) and the wonderful story of Alan’s ups and downs came across clearly even with that Accent…lol .. well done to Alan for being so honest and a word I use a lot “ Humble” .. it took courage to openly talk about you fears and problems. Just wish I had the guts to give you my story.. Well Done again great watching and listening. Ray..
Well done great vlog! Although abit younger I resonate so much with you Alan and well done for speaking up! I left my life long career in farming a year ago I was brought up on a farm and farmed since I was 18 full time but mentally I couldn’t cope anymore and after a 18 month battle I finally made the hard but life changing decision to leave that career! I now have a better social life, getting into mountain biking and down watching the rugby every weekend! What a difference in my mentality! Not to mention Iv been on 3 holidays in the past 18 months twice to Tenerife and I’ll be back in March hopefully! Before this I hadn’t had more than a couple nights away and hadn’t been abroad for 13 years! Keep going Alan you’re an inspiration and you look genuinely happy well done you!!

Live in the moment, you never know what's around the corner! I had two very close calls in 2017 and 2021 which totally turned my life upside down. 3 years later I'm living my dream and and regularly pinch myself to make sure I'm not actually dreaming. Great interview Rick

I'm a big believer in things happen for a reason. Alan was among good people who wanted to help and support, one guy took the initiative to support him, offering the lift to the gym, swimming lengths, and chatting. It turned his life around for the better. Just like the caterpillar who thought it's life was over.... it turned into a butterfly. Never give up, reach out, keep pedalling, and if you're reading this Alan. I'm proud of you. 🙏
