    Hi Amy - these look perfect!! Thanks for the tip about double lining the moulds with chocolate. I'm going to make the bombs, but have idea to fill these with icecream and caramel sauce to have as a dessert. Can't wait!!

    I noticed small gaps in the seal. Do you have a tip for sealing them after you put the halves together. Last year I tried smearing melted chocolate to seal them but it didn't look very attractive. Do you have a tip?

    I made these on my own method, and there were so many holes in the sides 😩
    I was using a big spoon and they were almost solid blocks of chocolate at the bottom but super fragile at the top
    doing things with a pastry brush and multiple layers is a very clever way of doing it
    thanks!
    I filled mine with a chocolate ganache, crushed cookies, coffee, and nutella. Getting creative with all this is the best part of doing home made

    They looked great! How long does it take for chocolate to harden in molds in fridge? 10 or 20 minutes each time?

  • @mduerkop

    How do you avoid getting fingerprints all over the spheres?! Mine turned out messy. I used luster dust in the mold 1st. Some were beautiful and some showed fingerprints. I even used surgical gloves. 😕☹️

    • @marwahachem1966
      @marwahachem1966 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      if you have fingerprints that could be either 1) ur using chocolate chips instead of candy melts or almond bark and you didn't temper the chocolate, 2) it's warm in your area so it's beginning to melt 3) the cocoa bomb itself isn't cold anymore. Most likely from the first reason. I use chocolate chips but i temper the chocolate so i can get that perfect snap! plus, it tastes way better than the latter

      In the microwave 30 seconds at a time

    • @chloenkitty
      @chloenkitty 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You put all the chocolate you’re going to use the microwave safe dish and microwave for 30 second intervals staring at each 30 second intervals until melted and liquidy. If it doesn’t get liquidy enough at the end, put about a teaspoon of Crisco shortening in the chocolate and steroid around good and it will make it more liquidy

    Definitely making these. Can you coat the outside with anything?

    • @scarletrabia8137
      @scarletrabia8137 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have seen a lot of people use gold luster dust to coat the outside to make it look super nice and shiny! Or you can take a little bit of luster dust and add a little bit of vodka to make almost a paint out of it(don't worry the alcohol evaporates and doesn't affect the flavor or anything) and you can splatter it on the inside of your mold before you put the chocolate and then when you remove the chocolate there are pretty golden spots! You can also drizzle some of the melted chocolate over the top for decoration and add some sprinkles while the chocolate is still wet!

    Hello I am a new subscriber to your Channel and I know I'm going to enjoy watching your videos now I know you've heard of the candy called ferrero rocher. That looks exactly like the little chocolate bombs you should try to make your own version of the candy out of a chocolate bomb using the same ingredients they have for the ferrero rocher candy

    • @NeuroticMomBakes
      @NeuroticMomBakes  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s candy melts specifically for melting and molding. I’m not sure if that means it’s pre-tempered or has additional ingredients to help it shine and snap.

      @@shermaineveluz2754 Yes, candy melts are for melting and molding. It's a matter of taste. When it comes to candy-melts, the taste is going to be more like wax. So if doing HCB for selling purposes and want to provide great taste you could use LINDT White Chocolate Bars.
