      @@sachisas in your body you have fats, sugars, proteins, etc.
      Some fats are liquid (good because they don't harden in your blood vessels)
      Other fats are solid (not so good as they can harden and block your arteries)
      These solid fats have extra hydrogen added to make them solid. If the hydrogen bonds are broken (by heat) they become liquid.
      Isomalt has added hydrogen so although it doesn't affect the sugar in your body, it adds to the 'bad fat' content
      I hope my explanation was short and to the point 😅

    Super spectacular I have seen these before and you did an amazing demonstration on how to make them at home. I love to have clear and concise you were on how to work with isomalt since it is very important to use that for these Tea bombs. I love how the isomalt has a lower melting point and stays crystal clear so you can see through it love the addition of the green tea inside

    Now she's going to make me want to buy a lovely alice in wonderland tea set and table cloth! Who knew about tea bombs! It does seem quite dangerous to prepare them especially around little children since they are hot in liquid form.

    I never knew what tea bomb is until this video popped up on my feed but I want to try it! It's hard to find isomalt here but I have xylitol and erythritol, and I think I can work it.

    • @BiteandChiu
      @BiteandChiu  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, thanks for watching. I have not used either xylitol or erythritol in this application. Erythritol would likely be the one to use as xylitol does not caramelize and crystallize to make the shells. I'm assuming you are fine with the consumption of sugar alcohols as consumption should be limited. I also have a video demonstrating how to make it with sugar if you want to check it out. th-cam.com/video/8VEuEhIDhuY/w-d-xo.html

      @@BiteandChiu isomalt is a kind of sugar alcohol too. And yeah, I believe it's fine to consume sugar alcohols as long as you don't eat more than the recommended intake per kilograms of your body weights.
