    Thanks, I'm gonna try this once my bearing comes in this weekend. I hear grinding and popping from rear driverside wheel when rotating. Appreciate you! Love the raw vid, makes me feel like a normal human being is doing it. Now I feel capable!

    Just finished installing the fronts today, I'll be doing the rears tomorrow. Hope it all goes as smoothly as this job.

    Hi it was made by Power Train Components. Does Moog have the grease seal on it already? I can't find a grease seal listed separately either. It might be a brand specific phenomenon, but I don't really know for sure. Thanks for watching!

    Hi, Thank You for the video, very helpful. What brand bearing did you use? The reason I ask is I purchased a National/Moog bearing and it doesn't have a separate grease seal like yours did and nowhere I checked lists a separate grease seal available. Mine did however come with a very thin large o ring. Thanks again for the C4 info.

    That concave washer that came out when old brg.was pulled , is called an anti click washer . Don't know how , but it stops the clicking sound heard in reverse and from reverse to drive , also dish in washer looks out when installing

    Thanks so much. Nowhere on Corvette forum does it tell you how to to remove hub without taking half the suspension apart. I got as far as taking off caliper, rotor, axle nut and when I searched there it was so complicated I was going to put it all back together. Thanks buddy!

    Great video on your part but at 7:36 I don't like what I see printed on the side of the aftermarket bearing assembly. I'd rather get one that's OEM GM or a well known high-performance manufacturer replacement part.

    Very informative. I need to do this to my "84. But one tip though, Keep the camera on a tripod so you can have both hands free and the camera won't be jumping around so much! Thanks for the video!

    Very straight forward and informative video. Thank you for keeping it about the task and not including unnecessary verbiage (i.e. you know what I'm saying......like like like..). I appreciate you taking the time to document this task. Thank you!

    Not 18 mm bolt or 36 mm nut. It is an 18 mm socket and 36 mm socket FYI. Know what you meant though 😀. Thanks for taking the time to make this.

      it is a 1992. i use whatever brand name is the cheapest, but if you're a purist you'd want to use delco

    Just banging with a hammer without any penetrating oil, hard to watch, just crazy.

    • @aDIYCarGuy
      @aDIYCarGuy  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      How smug, as if penetrating oil softens the blows of a hammer lmao. You haven't seen much if that's hard to watch.

    • @Jockebanan99
      @Jockebanan99 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No but it makes nuts, screws and axles move freely. The axle in the hub should also be lubed before put together, like all other screws and bolts. Anti seize, heared about it??

    I have never seen anyone take apart something and put it back together without lubrication. This is hard to watch. Like fucking without grease! Got to be tough!
