Their first and their current are on par with each other because their first had so much adversity with injuries, having losing seasons, coaches being fired, and players being traded before they became the dynasty they are today.
I dare say if their roster stays the same and they manage to keep themselves injury free, I wouldn't be surprised if they repeat as champions

One thing I learned about the warriors is to have faith in them as long as steph, klay, and draymond step on the court together they will get it done. Combine them with great pieces like Wiggins, Poole, and Payton jr. and there was never a doubt in my mind

You must REALLY hate the Lakers after what they've done over the decades to supplement their teams with the likes of Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Shaquille O'Neal, Pau Gasol, LeBron James, and Anthony Davis.
Isn’t it crazy how the media hates the warriors for getting one superstar but nobody says shit about how the lakers been signing superstar after superstar? Also the lakers this season were the most stacked superteam in NBA HISTORY and couldn’t make the play in tournament. Instead of giving the lakers shit for being a superteam, the media gave lebron shit for not making the play in. Indeed. And I still wish to this day that we lived in an alternate universe where CP3 and Kyrie never got injured and we had Rockets vs. Celtics in the 2018 NBA Finals instead of Warriors vs. Cavs IV.
And it is genuinely unfortunate what happened to the Warriors from the 2019 Finals and onwards, but personally I like to think of it as karma for them breaking the league the way they did. Personally, I think they've served their punishment and I wouldn't mind seeing them back in the playoffs again next season, but only the Basketball Gods can know for sure what will happen next.

@@heementoli609 Yep, and it wasn't that much different in 2009 where the Phoenix Suns won 46 games but still finished 2 wins shy of the playoffs. Mind you, that was right around the same time the Suns thought that adding the aging, not really in shape anymore, Shaq to their "7 seconds or less" roster would help them, but still.
