This really opens a lot of eyes for others. Honestly, so many people hate on others who try to bring in REAL hip hop culture into their styles of music, but it's not that they're copying it and can't do it- It's because they just want to make it big like these artists here. Now, I'm not saying that these rappers and hip hop artists are very popularly known, but what I'm getting at is that people hate on other cultures who AREN'T American that try to get into this genre. These people are not trying to be like other artists. They just want to live their life making music that they love and can share with others. Hip hop is not all about living in the ghetto, twerking, or gettin' hoes. It's about life and culture. This video and these lyrics show exactly that for others to see. No one has to agree with me, but this is just my personal opinion on how people should open up their minds to actually LISTEN to various types of world-wide hip hop and not the mainstream stuff before spitting hateful thoughts.

As an old school HipHop head, I can say that the one thing that HipHop always taught us was to get educated, be yourself, leave your own mark and never bite other people. HipHop is world wide and has been for many years. American HipHop as far as the mainstream is concerned has been leaning more towards materialism and further away from the art form. I think what a lot of artists these days lack is knowing the essence of it. No real innovation and too much imitation. I honestly think what the general public is being played as HipHop is nothing but actors piecing together all the popular bars they've heard of the years from their favorite artists.
Respect those who started HipHop in the first place like KRS! no it's not about twerking it's a platform people expressed themselves ! you can't ever look at Hip Hop not take it back to it's roots I don't care what language you decide to rap~ there was no Hip Hop before those who pave the way and made it mainstreams everyone can enjoy! Music is something that can always unite different cultures touch the soul!

A few years ago, I thought this was cool, now looking back on it I disagree. Many of the cultures and people's represented in this video, don't even respect the people who created hip-hop: black Americans. It's all here, and it's so cool to be able to experience a bit of each country, their struggles, and learn- i love seeing the different rhyme scheme each language uses- because HIP-HOP has evolved to each country and their people!
It's so interesting to see how the imagery the rappers use in their lyrics change depending on where they're from. The topics they pick too reflect so much of their countries' current situations. It's literally an analysis of the world & its cultures. It's so fun. K I'm done being a geek.

I agree. I'm a big fan of Chinese martial arts action movies and seeing the movies in Chinese with subtitles is WAY better than overdubbing because you get to hear the actors talk in their own language, and of course they are going to be better at it because it's their normal tongue. I actually hate when I see people in other countries do things in English because it's like bad over-dubbing. Much better to stay true to the region, and then throw some English subtitles on it.

Even let him film his portion in Brussel instead of Japan.. Julian knows his ass can't be seen tryna rap in Yokohama.. that scene said F him.
