This yarn looks thicker than DK.

Hello, the needles are 10 mm. 😊 I have written what I used in the description box. You can use different sizes of needles and yarn and get unique pieces.

I recommend everyone to use natural fibers instead of acrylic or other plastic yarn because of how much it pollutes .

I agree, and apologize for not researching more about what yarn to use and which of them would be best for the environment. But I did some research and next time I will use some kind of wool, maybe alpaca wool, which is probably expensive. I think buying from local suppliers will help as well

@@LegolitaLuna DO NOT apologize. Many people buy these yarns because. 1. They are inexpensive and allows anyone to knit or crochet without much cost. 2. For infant clothes and new mothers who do not have the ability to care for natural fabrics. 3. Natural fibers shrink (except silk, or bamboo). If you give a gift to someone who is not familiar with natural fibers, it WILL end up in the washer by accident and the gift is ruined. 4. There are people with allergies to natural fibers. Sad but true. DO NOT APOLOGIZE. Acrylic yarn has its place in the fiber world.
