Now just put a long travel kit on it and Aluminum Douglas rims and it will be bad ass!! The rotax 583 at least makes 95 horsepower to 105 the 670 made 115 to 125ish with the 670 ho. Best Skidoo motors ever they had great torque and we're Bulletproof I had both of them with high mileage on them in Sleds.

Use sea-doo carbs for more filter clearance, they are already at like a 45deg angle
This would be sick with the right suspension. You can tell the motor out does the chassis in every way. Like grind hard did theirs. That one’s an animal with long travel suspension

Got scammed by these guys Time Machines bought this fl350r hinda odyssey from them this is the 1 from TH-cam it never ran delivery driver even said it never ran when he picked it up they put the motor together like retarts instead of eliminating the oil injection the eliminated the crank oil and lub port blowing up the crank and completely stripping the Rotax disc they didn't even use assembly lub had to get a hole new motor and start from scratch gonna post paperwork from machine shop had them strip down the engine to find out what happen they refused to cover it real scammed buyers beware and there are other beware ppl bless up from NYC
Guess neither of these two have a clue about breaking in a freshly rebuilt engine and no air filters in all that dust. Hope for there sake it lasts.
dayum all it needs is a long travel kit.. I had a choice on mine a long travel kit 1st or the Rotax swap kit 1st I chose the long travel kit which after watchin this was looks like I made a mistake I need to get that for mine but I dont regret the long travel kit it made such a huge difference I mean night and day difference especially when cornering its dam near impossible to roll but with that setup its probably more likely

That engine need oil feed for the rotary valve even when you mix gas, bottle with oil and hose that goes on the top and bottom hose connector thing should work. And i would put some kind of a guard in between the seat and that clutch as if it decides to explode it will propably take an arm with it.

I grew up in Maine and once you open up a sled that has a Leggett 160 hp two stroke you will have a new religion. Artic Cat and Yamaha were in a different playing feild. Power to weight ratio is how both those companies own the Lakes, SRX, And ZRT, also FireCat are the engines you want.
Those things are fast with a 350! Can’t imagine with a rotax in it! Stiffer springs in the clutch I bet that beast holds the front wheels off the ground
Its blowing the tires off. Would need a lot less power to lift front end. The wheelie guys arent getting the power to tire spin.

This was great . I bought one when I was 15 with the money I saved working at Walgreens for 7$ an hour. The frame was cracked and the engine was blown up and I rebuilt it myself . I had been in a terrible motorcycle accident, almost lost my leg and this fit the bill.

I think your hp estimate is probably a little modest, the 670 generally produce more than 100 hp probably closer to the 120 hp range especially with the right exhaust and canister.
Any time i try and say a number i seen online i get ripped by people oh its half that. Figured id be as low as possible

You need oil in the tank for the rotary valve gear and bearings that motor will not last if you don’t put oil in

Cool build! The only thing that I would worry about is that radiator spraying on me if something fails! Put some sand tires on it and take her to the dunes!

It seems like the engine was a conversion kit made for the pilot. I haven't seen all your videos so I don't know what the history of the build is.

There were cool back in the day. Modern side by sides perform so much better that it would be hard for me to spend the money on one these. My brother did run me over in the same model when I was in 1st grade. The tire tread marks went up my back and off my shoulder.

Time machines I bought the Daytona piranha 150 and I had a certified mechanic put a 4 vow race head on it But I can't use the electric start electric starred calls of the compression impression from the 4 valve race head what can I do do to make the electric start work
Looked like there was a motor mount bolt loose underneath, you should 3D print up adapter for your air filters, some kind of suspension upgrade is needed now,Good job cool build

Hell yea! Got 3 rotax fl350s 2 670ho's and 1 617cc. 2 are long travel. Used to race them in a pilot/oddysey class at Rolling W Ranch short course offroad track in Western PA. If you ever need anything for a rotax engine let me know, I have a literal wall of rotax 583-670 engines. Also anything for fl350s as well.

Brother! I have a fl350 half tore down that my dad was working on before he passed when i was 15, well that was 15 years ago now and im picking back up the project! He aways wanted to put a snowmobile motor on it being a Indiana kid he was, i live up in richmond Ky now and she is just waiting for me in my garage.. if you know of any place i could send everything off to or where to start on my build id love to contact you somehow to help point me in the right direction! You remind me alot of my old man with al the toys around, i was just like your boys riding with dad to go get some toy for mom to yell at us about when we got back 😅

Yo that oil injection system needs to be hooked up and working! The oil injection lubricates that rotary valve plate! and more that will not be lubricated by oil in the gas!

That kit has been out for awhile to convert them over,problem is all that power with that suspension just don't work the best,now do that to a honda pilot and u got a real machine.
What kind of radiator is on that?
Just shove some gorilla glue down in those cracks in the tires let sit for 24 hours in the last you 100,000 miles 😆

Prefilter over the carbs with some screen or chicken wire wrapped around it to hold the prefilter there with a hose clamp around the chicken wire to keep it tight

Killer project! That kit looks super well made but please utilize that extra oil tank on the fuel tank! It’s to keep the rotary valve lubricated. It will seize if you do not hook it up!
A sheet metal airbox will give you the best power but pod filters will do!
Also you need to drop some pinweight in your primary clutch, it only sounds like it’s revving to 6500rpm or so

The starter goes on clutch side it spins the clutch if the clutch u have had a ring gear on it but yah

Blockoff plate was full of oil and oiled plate and gear when i had it open to check timing.

Put a snowmobile engine in the scrambler. Its an easy swap. Ive done it twice
