Definitely subscribing. I am in my final year of Bcom and I actually relate to a lot of what you are saying. I am seriously considering the CIMA route instead of the SAICA route. Looking forward to more content. 😀(Aeronautical engineering was my first option but maths was like awuyi lapho)

I’m doing my management level and I was starting to feel like I might be taking the wrong route because all the jobs I’ve been seeing all want CA(SA) and the videos on TH-cam aren’t relatable. All the best girl🎉🎉

Hi Precious, thank you for this content, I have just completed my Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management (Bcom honors Finance) from UWC, Ive registered but seems like i am not exempt rom management level, do you any information in writing regarding this
hello. CIMA grants exemptions at its own discretion so they have the final say. When you did the qualification, did they say that it will exempt you from the management objective tests?

I don't mind at all. You are actually not the first person to ask
The programs are similar because we do the same modules (same class, tests, etc) except that honors also has research. At UJ, we all apply for the postgraduate diploma in financial management (PGDIP in FM) then they'll select a limited number of people (5 to be exact) that will do honors. It is because most people do the program to qualify for CIMA and not for the research component. If you are interested in research, you also have the opportunity to do master's there after (whether you have honors or a postgraduate diploma)

began in 2020, got exemption to management case study, took the exam in may and fail terribly and never took it again. fast forward 2023 and i want to continue but do not know how, help pls if u can

Hello. A Bcom/Diploma in Accounting or management accounting will exempt you from some of the CIMA exams (certificate and/or operational level)

Hey. Please visit the CIMA website and create an account, then go to the exemptions search page. It's going to ask you to search your university and qualification

Hello Emmanuel, if you are referring to the study material, no. You can go to cimastudy.com, register an account then buy the study material for the module you want.

No you don’t have to, they have all required equipment. You just need to bring 2 forms of proof of identity -they are very strict
