Has anyone seen Ray Fisher? He spoke up about the injustice he experienced on Justice League and he disappeared from Hollywood. Miller running cults, stealing liquor and acting all sorts of wrong. He’s still the Flash.
He got let go and fired after accusing Joss Whedon of being “gross, abusive, unprofessional and completely unacceptable” conduct on the Justice League set. He was going to be appear in the Flash movie but got taken out. It’s a middle finger that Ezra Miller gets to still be hired but Ray Fisher was let go.

I appreciate dudes care for the universe, but he was a horrible Superman. Maybe it was the writing maybe it was him, maybe it was both. But the character especially was soo poorly (and boringly) written I couldn’t care even a little.
White straight male, it's really as simple as that. The old management of DC were trying hard to phase out the *White Straight Masculine Males* Affleck and Cavill, and replace them with the female versions of those characters; Batgirl and Supergirl. But their plan went tits up when. Ezra lost the plot and started going on extra. Basically exposing Hollywood got the big, fat smelly hypocrites that they are.

Ezra aint Flash anymore. WB just cant say anything that can hurt the movie right now. We will more than likely get an announcement from Gunn himself addressing it after the films theatrical run.
WB is refraining from doing anything for now because of the upcoming Flash movie that they _need_ to get out in addition to the fact that Ezra Miller has checked in to a clinic, so the Screen Actors Guild union are oathbound to defend his labor rights and to make sure his contract is upheld while he's checked into a clinic. WB could fight against the union to get Ezra fired but it's not going to be worth the expended effort. They'll most probably wait until a good while after the Flash movie is released before announcing that they're cutting ties with Ezra Miller.
It's absolutely awesome seeing Keaton bk as Batman, he is the batman I grew up with, and he played such a great Batman, Keston helped set the tone and look that all the others have followed.
Ezra Miller got fired basically but the movie hasn’t come out, yet. DC can’t announce that Ezra won’t play the flash because no one will come and see it.
The trailer was phenomenal, and the movie might be fantastic. Additionally, Corey and Oz are right. WB is trying to dodge the narrative of Ezra's past and the sketchy situations. The spin cycle is definitely similar to how we are as a culture. We are very selective about causes and our support behind them. We'll have to talk about it.
I'm glad someone brought up how we give passes to others. Tom Cruise is a crazy cult leader and deadbeat father among other things who is linked to a "disappearance" aka a murder and people just turn a blind eye to his stuff because...reasons
They aren’t dodging anything, the movie has been made, he will be gone after the movie, it’s not rocket science, and everyone is mad about this so no selective outrage here, im watching the movie because I want to
@@JosephABernal Exactly. No matter how bad the actor in real life, I watch them for their character in the show. Not for who they are in real life. This Flash has been made anyway, before the recent incidents. Might as well show it, otherwise Keaton and Affleck's effort will be wasted too.
The news cycle (what there was of it since mainstream media seemed curiously disinterested in covering Miller’s Madness🤔) has turned to chase the next bright and shiny object, so I’m sure Warner/Discovery feels much more confident in going ahead with the release. It’s a shame, really, because I doubt what we’ve heard so far is the worst Miller has done. Hollywood has covered up worse than this to make a buck, though, so I’m not surprised.
I disagree I think media definitely covered the miller situation if you want a situation that wasn't covered and swept under the rug it was the Jeremy renner one where he held his family hostage and threatened to kill them and himself.

James Gunn is not gonna say he’s fired Ezra before the flash comes out. It’s just a bad business decision. After this movie theatrical run they’ll release a pr statement of them saying goodbye to Ezra
I’m honestly more concerned about the merchandise and marketing that your gonna have kids walking around with Ezra’s face on t shirts and toys and parents are not particularly gonna wanna support that but it’s all about money and WB wanting that bag so they’ll do shady things plus I feel like with James Gunn they want this movie over and done with so they can move on and Shazam 2 Aquaman 2 and The Flash are the only thing stopping them from moving forward so they gotta just dump this movie on screens so they can get the money and just move on
Yeah, unless they make very generic flash merchandise (cuz the flash has always been a very popular hero.. so you know they need merch) but putting Ezra face would be creepy Unless more people make it news and says that's a problem then WB will just pretend like what he did never happened
For the record, I agree with Korey 100 percent. They used nostalgia with Michael Keaton to distract from the fact that a weird criminal is in the lead… multiple versions of him. I have other issues with it like when Michael Keaton comes out, delivers a line and there are just manufactured silent moments that are for people to cheer from cheap nostalgia. It’s cheap. A lot of people’s sense of quality has been lowered from all the crap we have been getting. It’s pretty sad.
I swear people love trying to give passes and the benefit of the doubt to people like Erza Miller, that they like but i bet if that was anybody else they would be trying to boycott this movie and get that person cancelled, especially if it was somebody black.
My question is, why couldn’t they just replace Ezra Miller with someone else like they did Kevin Spacey with Christopher Plummer? They have the technology

Yeah, I'm gonna see this movie for Michael Keaton (and to a lesser extent Batfleck). I kinda join other fans in questioning Gunn's decisions here, especially in regard to Cavill. But if Miller is gone after this movie, because of a "universe reboot", then I'll start giving him and DC some benefit of the doubt again.
There's definitely some conflicting emotions here for me. Won't lie, I screamed and teared up as soon as Michael Keaton came on the scene. But then there's all the business stuff. WB got rid of Johnny Depp (from a crap franchise, though) for FALSE allegations. Not being arrested, no charges, just false allegations. Then you have this stuff with Miller that REALLY happened, and they just look the other way. Now my nerdy side is grateful because I WANT TO SEE THIS MOVIE!!! But I wouldn't shed a sad tear if it resets the universe and boots Ezra out.

For the people asking “Why’s Henry Cavill not back, but Ezra Miller is?” This movie was filmed 2 years ago and was in post production when all these crazy things in Hawaii and Vermont came out and before James Gunn and Peter Safran took over DC. This movie’s too expensive to just reshoot their scenes especially when they’re playing 2 versions of the character. They’re not gonna officially announce Miller’s gone until after it comes out, if they do it before it could hurt the box office. It’s a shit situation and I don’t think it’s as easy as some people have made it out to be. This is coming from someone who is in the “Fuck Ezra Miller” camp. So, yeah how this turns out will be interesting.

I was teary eyed when I saw Michael Keaton as Batman. The fight scenes are incredible too. I’m not sure what will happen to Ezra Miller after the Flash movie, but I have a feeling there will be elements of “Flashpoint” from the animated movie🤓⚡️🦇
I’m surprised that there’s so much positivity & excitement around this movie. I guess all the Ezra Miller news wasn’t as front page as I’d assumed. It’s bad enough Ezra isn’t facing any consequences but if this movie is successful WB is going to be patting themselves on the back & feeling justified for not severing ties with Ezra.
Let's be honest with ourselves. Most of the people who are going to watch this movie are doing it to see michael keaton and the other actors, not Miller.
LOL @ “Marvel is trying to upstage DC.” They played one of the first commercials at the highest-rated annual show so they can get eyes on their products-just like every other advertiser. Aside from that, there are other reasons Marvel does not care about “upstaging” DC. Here’s why: First, Marvel and DC are not really in direct competition for movies. They cater to the same demographics, sure, but it is not like Verizon and AT&T, where you only get to pick one at a time for your cell phone, vying for the SAME dollars. The better these movies are, and the more money they make, the happier BOTH studios will be. Second, Guardians Vol. 2 made more money than every DC movie, except for Batman v. Superman (which earned just a few million more) and Aquaman. There is nothing to upstage, either critically or box office-wise. Last, you do not upstage someone by going first. That is bar-setting, not bar-raising.
You could have 1 million different Batmen in this movie including Adam west & Kevin conroy & it would still be a thicc hell no I'm not seeing this. Maybe there's hope for Gunn's Flash.
Most people in this country can’t afford to get mental health treatment. Ezra will be fine. I feel bad for the state of Ezra’s mental health as I would anyone else, but Ezra has got options that most people don’t.
The truth is 90%+ of the people that will go see this movie won't know anything about what happened with Ezra Miller. Most moviegoers are casuals and don't pay attention to the behind the scenes stuff about movies. People's barometer on whether they go to a movie is if it looks like fun not the behind the scenes stuff(that's mostly a niche level internet thing). As for will he get a pass? Depends on what you mean. They played up more Batman and Supergirl/Zod in the trailer then him. Odds are this is it for him as the FLASH. The only reason he wasn't recasted most likely was the film was basically done and they already spent 200+ million on the film. To erase him, recast and reshoot scenes would be to much especially after the sale to Discovery Inc. He more than likely won't be put out to promote it and the less he's seen away from the movie the more likely people(even the small fraction that remember it) will forget Ezra's problems. At least that's what WarnerBrosDiscovery is probably banking on.
I’m going to see this movie - it looks great and I’m looking forward to seeing it. As far as Ezra Miller is concerned- he will have his day in court- those legal issues he has are not going away. The last I heard about him was he is getting mental health treatment - If he is good- I am not going to wish him ill will if it is proven he was having mental issues. I also agree a lot of other people worked on the movie and their work should be seen.
I know I'm the odd man out, but honestly I agree with Corey. I did like the trailer and do intend on seeing the film, but I found it unusual how no one addressed the controversies (well, one or two reactors did). I find it off-the-wall how they're wiping the slate, yet are considering keeping one of their controversial actors. Like Corey said, other people have been fired for lesser things, but since this is a high profile actor with an expensive movie, then their misdeeds are alright. While I think the film will do alright, I still think the controversy behind it will end up hurting it

This movie does look incredible. Among the last 3 entries of the DCEU. So much going on with changing the fate of time and space. If things are gonna change towards the new DCU, i'm pleased with what it has to offer. Nobody wanted Flashpoint to be the plot for a movie that's been anticipated since the 2000s. David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight Trilogy) would've done it and had Ryan Reynolds play Wally West. With that being said, Ezra Miller gets no pass for what he's done. You don't just shrug off what he did in the public eye and said 'Oh, he's not so bad as an person. I don't give him a pass neither. He's been arrested and charged for what he did as he should be. If he's getting the proper treatment he needs, i'm all for it.
To the people out there that kept saying “If they can cancel the Batgirl movie, why not this after all the things Ezra Miller has done?” Here’s the thing, this movie has been in the can for months. It was a forgone conclusion that this movie was gonna come out. Also, this movie is too expensive to get rid of unlike the the Batgirl movie which was a sacrificial lamb to the merger. Plus, there was already promotional material made so people knew it was gonna come out eventually. If you’re worried that Ezra Miller is gonna stay, the thing is they’re not gonna say they’re getting rid of people before the movie comes out because they still need to sell tickets. Once that movie and the other two being Shazam 2 and Aquaman 2 will come out and then we’ll get the news that they’re out. Lastly, WB executives have been banking on this movie to hit the reset button since 2017, so it should be no surprise on why they would keep it.

Same here. Dude was a lot more invested in DC than Ezra has ever been and DC execs threw him away like trash while staying silent about Ezra.

Ezra Miller got fired basically but the movie hasn’t come out, yet. DC can’t announce that Ezra won’t play the flash because no one will come and see it.
Especially johnny Depp..he's the only one that didn't assault someone on tape
Fuck Hollywood

Not only that, but they still need to sell tickets. After the movie comes out, THEN we’ll get the news that Ezra is no longer The Flash.
A few months after the movie has been out: "Okay, Ezra. It's been... a run for sure, but now it's time to get the fuck out!"
Michael Keaton’s appearance can boost some of the good things of the flash movie, but a surprise that the trailer may make the movie really good.
I’m honestly more concerned about the merchandise and marketing that your gonna have kids walking around with Ezra’s face on t shirts and toys and parents are not particularly gonna wanna support that but it’s all about money and WB wanting that bag so they’ll do shady things plus I feel like with James Gunn they want this movie over and done with so they can move on and Shazam 2 Aquaman 2 and The Flash are the only thing stopping them from moving forward so they gotta just dump this movie on screens so they can get the money and just move on
Maybe they could use some DT merch instead….
Yeah, unless they make very generic flash merchandise (cuz the flash has always been a very popular hero.. so you know they need merch) but putting Ezra face would be creepy
Unless more people make it news and says that's a problem then WB will just pretend like what he did never happened
Yup. People are easily manipulated

Success of this movie can be contributed as "Ezra's Star Power".
Here’s why:
First, Marvel and DC are not really in direct competition for movies.
I'm not gonna ignore any of it. I'm not spending a dime on this movie. I'm gonna catch it for free wherever and whenever I can.
It’s going to be free in a couple of weeks after it gets released on HBO Max if you have a subscription already.

if there isn't a Kevin Conroy tribute in this movie I'll be pissed
I know I'm the odd man out, but honestly I agree with Corey. I did like the trailer and do intend on seeing the film, but I found it unusual how no one addressed the controversies (well, one or two reactors did). Like Corey said, other people have been fired for lesser things, but since this is a high profile actor with an expensive movie, then their misdeeds are alright. While I think the film will do alright, I still think the controversy behind it will end up hurting it

This movie is the perfect setup for the DC reboot going forward! Such a smart move, they're going back to Man of Steel and just redoing the whole storyline. So the new supergirl movie, new superman movie, new batman movie, etc will be setup from this movie.
Who’s not talking about the crimes Ezra committed???
That conversation is all over the media.
Mark 13:39. In one universe, a married Clark Kent and Diana Prince retired and moved to Japan. They have a red-headed daughter and give her a Japanese name!
Quote -
In the wake of a massive asteroid impact, two new students arrive for their first day at Graviton Academy: red-headed A-ko (Miki Itô), a young girl with psychokinetic abilities, who is skilled in the martial arts, and her tiny blonde sidekick C-ko (Michie Tomizawa). But when rich-girl B-ko (Emi Shinohara) decides she wants the adorable C-ko to ditch A-ko and join her clique, a heated rivalry between B-ko and A-ko ensues. Meanwhile, a bizarre alien ship arrives on the outskirts of Graviton City.
Initial release: June 21, 1986.
They'll probably keep him, If so that's a shame on James Gunn/DC. There's plenty of talent in Hollywood that could take over that role, but Gunn is weird himself so I guess he sees nothing wrong with what Ezra did smh.
I don't think they gonna keep Ezra, they're just waiting for the movie to be released and be over with so that they can announce the new DCU with blue beetle as a start.
@@DeathFORcameO I hope so, cuz that's not a good look on there part.
Took me a moment to register when my dude corrected himself when he said "he" and changed to "they" 😅. I was like why did he just...Oh...word okay, don't wanna get canceled cuz it's 2023
Damn when they put it like that I do feel bad I wanna see this so bad, Ezra did allegedly do some pretty despicable things, I don't feel great about supporting this person
Key word "allegedly" not fact... yet Korey is speaking as if Ezra is 100% guilty till proven innocent and is conflating the art with the artist.
This is a good conversation and highlights how there's hardly any room for ones like it any more. And, I do say this with as little judgement as possible and also as a fan of all this stuff, people straight up care too much about this crap. We're heavily emotionally invested in what is essentially a McDonald's hamburger.
They change Batman every movie, but they can't do it with a fourth tier character
What's crazy is Ray Fisher complained about racism dealing with Joss Whedon and gets blackballed while Ezra Miller goes on a crime spree, and he's still The Flash. Explain that to me.
The only thing I can think of is Ezra being apart of the trans community. What happened to Ray is wrong and shows the hypocrisy of WB and DC. Amber Herd is also a pos human. Ezra and Amber should be blacklisted.
People's convictions are always bending towards different directions like a tree in a wind storm.
Yeh they're using him to reset the DCU I don't care how awesome this movie turns out to be, I don't want Ezra back. Its complete hypocrisy if they can keep Ezra on as Flash, but Depp was kicked just from a "Acussation", and he cleared his name too.
Hollywood is a joke and this is a awkward situation now because I really want to see this movie but ONLY for Affleck and Keaton's Batman that's it nothing more.
Ezra#1: "Prepare for trouble!"
Ezra#2: "Make that double!"
Which one wears Jessie's skirt?
Thinking back, it's too bad Ray Fisher as Cyborg never got his movie.
The movie trailer looks great but knowing the things we know so far about Ezra miller feels like an IRL The Boys character
If Ezra stay then I'm done. I know one person isn't alot but we need to have standards as a society and some kind of thoughts that aren't foggy by how cool the movie looks
exactly! Ppl love seeing morally righteous characters on screen yet they dont care if the most dubious of thugs plays them.
yeah, because fuck all the hundreds of OTHER people who busted their ass on this movie. Eli Hutch HAS STANDARDS! And he'll gladly tell a thousand people to fuck off because one of them is a whack job. YEAH, that's the ticket! I bet you were made that hundreds of people got screwed over when Batgirl got cancelled right? But anyone NOT NAMED Ezra Miller on The Flash can go and fuck right off because Eli Hutch has STANDARDS everyone.
I'm very confused. I guess you can really do what you want as long as your a "they." This movie has been ruined for me.
@@thediscracedone4932 no, Ezra is protected because they're part of the Screen Actors Guild and studios can't fire an actor while they're at rehab.
The Flash will be recasted once this movies theatrical run is over, it might even happen at the end of this movie.
@@BaithNa Ok I can understand that, but ezra should've been fired a long time ago. Between their antics & plot synopsis leaks, this movie has been ruined for me so all I can do is hope the future is brighter.
Micheal Keaton alone make the flash "better than sex" IMO iykyk
Only thing I'll miss is Shazam and Black Adam. Gal Gadot Wonder Woman? Eh. Henry Cavill Superman? Eh. Ben Affleck Batman? No. Jason Mamoa Aquaman? Fuck no. Ezra Miller Flash? Fuck no, and I hope that psycho freak's career is over after this
I hear ppl cringing at seeing him in the trailer still. Ppl are still having a hard time digesting thus
R Kelly apologized too.
Ezra Miller is the resurrection of David Koresh.
Remember who Runs Hollywood...now what is Ezra miller?...there you go...they take care of each other
I feel like the whole controversy with this film would be a lot easier to stomach if they announced that Ezra Miller will not reprise the role after this film. However, with James Gunn alluding that Ezra Miller is sticking around for the future of the DCU the whole thing comes across as pretty gross and unsettling tbh.
yup i need him out. a lot of ppl wont see this film because of ezra
Thankfully Chris wasn't there but wished to hear Martin's thoughts on it
@@LG4K4K When it comes to DC, he ALWAYS brings a crappy attitude
I love Michael Keaton, but I cannot stop imagining the fallout if DC keeps Ezra Miller as the Flash, what would they do if Ezra relapses back into old habits, and strikes someone, it ending in something far worse, I hope they're keeping this in mind, they need to replace them, with someone else, it has to be done, stop remaining silent DC
excited to see Keaton as Batman but my only worry is whether it will work without Burton's direction and look.
Looks way better than the Burton films. Why Korey said he couldn't see Keaton as Batman before was bcuz Keaton really didn't have any cool fight or action scenes like that when you look back at those movies.I myself can't picture Keaton doin what Bale did when he was young goin off to be trained by Ras Al Ghul.Keaton didn't do any of that in his movies and his Bruce definitely wasn't a ladies man he was awkward as fuck.It showed his genius though when he figured out what everyday items Joker was using to kill people
@@keldorthebluemack No, my point is how Keaton's Batman will work outside Burton's world since his look and mannerisms were obviously very catered to Burton's style.
@@yakuza01 “you wanna get nuts! Let’s get nuts!!” 😂
As long as Ezra is in this movie and is the flash i will not watch this or any other movie he is in, but i sure as hell will pirate that shit cause this sick man doesn't deserve any money from my wallet.
Funny how everyone who was talking about boycotting this movie over Ezra is most definitely gonna watch this movie now. Notice how basically no one is talking about Ezra's actions anymore but are rather expressing excitement over the film.
Yup, the point Korey was making. People see batman and all of a sudden things are cool lol
I think it's more how much they invested into this particular movie rather than Ezra Miller getting a pass. I for one didn't care for him even before his shenanigans. Saw him in Fantastic Beasts and JL... he didn't impress me in either. BUT I am a sucker for superhero movies, and this is the Flash's first ever solo movie so I will be watching this for that reason.
Kara is about to get revenge for all the white women Ezra Miller beat up 🤣🤣🤣
