The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - 60FPS PC PORT - Full Game Playthrough

- It's already here! The Ship of Harkanian released a new version of their ocarina of time pc port, which includes the 60fps feature! It's still experimental (interpolated) and the team has said that this is just a temporary 60 fps and they will improve upon it, but personally I think this looks great! Throughout the playthrough, there were a few glitchy moments (Volva, the fire temple boss) that will be fixed in the future. Lots of credits to the developers!
As you can see there are a few custom HD textures I am using in the playthrough. Mostly text, hud and a few common things have been upgraded to a higher resolution. If you want to use my textures, there is a tutorial I made on my channel, where you can download them and use them yourself.
The credits are muted, because the credits song would otherwise get claimed. I am not making any money from these videos so that would be a problem, except for the fact that that means you can't add chapters to your video. Despite the fact that I muted the credits, the video got claimed at some random part for a random song that is not even there, sadly. Might as well had left in the credits song...

As someone currently working on some Zelda-style stuff in Unreal Engine, it is always nice to see good gameplay of OoT. This PC port looks incredible!

Looks like the end credits don't have any audio playing at all for some reason.
I explained it in the description. I did this because it's the only song that is copywritten. I don't make any money from these videos but if a video is claimed, I cannot add chapters.
You may notice that the video still does not have any chapters, that is sadly because the video has been wrongfully claimed by someone random.

Is this Special K running the textures?
Yes, at this moment, this is the only way to inject textures. The SoH team is hard at work in a diffrent and better way to add new textures :) If you're interested, you will find a video in the description on how to do this.

Currently this video is only in 360p, so I wanna say: This game actually looks phenomenal at 30fps, hopefully we'll get a 30fps mode at some point in the future. 60fps can look a bit uncanny at times.
They are working on a fps slider, meaning you can choose what fps the game runs in. That means we'll finally have a choice between 30, 60 and 144!

I don't understand what people mean when they say this is legal because all the assets have been recreated and not ported. Does that mean somebody literally made all the polygons and textures by scratch? How did they get the sounds exactly the same too? How would somebody do all that work to get it just right without being tempted to improve anything along the way, round some of those polygon edges you know?
Good question! When you compile the pc port, you need a ROM of this game. Using a program, it will extract all the assets (sound textures models) into one single file, that the pc port can read and use. Getting the rom (in this case the debug rom that you have to download) is up to the person who wants to play the pc port and not up to the creators of the port. So if you want to play this port, you NEED to illegally download the debug rom. But creating the port and letting other people download it is not illegal aslong as they don't give you the port. Hope this cleared everything up!
TLTR: you need to provide a OOT rom, the assets from this rom will be extracted and used.
Dang , I skipped all the way to Koume and Kotake , and I apriciated the battle and 60 fps looks phenomenal, now it make me think of majoras mask, did link escaped the dreaded circle ⭕️ of majoras enchantment at the end, or he really became the Stalfo that trains Twilight link , is just that Koume and Kotake appear in majoras mask and they supposedly die in ocarina of time, idk . Maybe 🤔 I shouldn’t think to much about it. Hehehe 🤭.
Where is the download link?
The saddest thing about this Remaster is it wouldn't even be possible to run this on a Switch, no way could a Switch do 1080p60 but hey, maybe the next Nintendo console will be able to handle 1080p60, and then they could give us something similar to this fan made PC Port, hopefully !!!!!!!

Hi man, thanks for the upload. I wish to say that if you ever redo a playthrough it would be really nice pls if you'd give time to read dialogues¬ do the running backwards thing^^ I intend to sit back&chill watching the playthrough but sadly can't here since these 2 things ruin the immersion for me personally

I played on 120 FPS beat that!
The new update allows me to play up to 250 fps. BEAT THAT! ;) My screen is only 144hz though.. so it would be kinda overkill to go that high

I don’t see why gaming company’s don’t do this already and maybe update the backgrounds and textures a little bit. People obviously hold sentimental value and want to play them still. It’s such a huge cash grab they’re just lazy or want to show off new ideas and games. The second option I’m cool with but bringing these old school games back with a little tweak is not that hard. I think if they remade oot and majors mask and made it look and play like twilight princess that would be sick too but I think most fans wouldn’t like that.
