going to concur with others, I love the professionalism of these two reporters. As an out of stater, I will sorely miss them! It's rare these days to have the news reported so competently, with the story foregrounded over the the journalists themselves. No over-dramatic, inappropriate tonal emphases (that happen all too often when the news is read from a teleprompter); no weird, inappropiatley timed smiling-at-the-camera poses. Y'all remind me of Walter Cronkite in the way you just go about your jobs and do them well. Thank you so much.

It’s insane the jury is not allowed to use parts of transcripts if they need to refer to a an aspect of the trial such as eye witness testimony etc. It’s true the judge wants them to rely on memory but they have access to evidence so there’s no reason why they shouldn’t have access to parts of transcripts if they question something. It’s another example of the sadistic behavior of this particular judge.

I have a question, I haven’t heard it been said yet out of the content I’ve watched, just curious:
Has it been proven that “bridge guy” is the person who said “down the hill” ? Are we for sure that they are one in the same? Does the video show bridge guy saying these words? I’m wondering how they are certain that the person walking on the bridge is the same person who said “down the hill”
I’m not saying it’s not the same person, but I haven’t seen or heard anything that proves it’s the same person. Just curious! I probably missed this being talked about specifically.

There you go, there’s no conspiracy behind it at all. Kelsi was 17 at the time and the sisters were very close. I get so upset when nut cases blame Kelsi, but RA who admitted being there, dressed in those clothes, spent cartridge found under a shoe, who lost his phone from 2017 but had every other one, could not be the killer. Use your critical thinking skills. Lots of killers don’t leave DNA. Scott Peterson received the death penalty and there was no DNA. Who else could’ve done this but Richard Allen? The killer was bridge guy, or wasn’t it? The bridge guy was Richard Allen, or wasn’t it? He placed himself on the bridge that day and was wearing the same clothing as bridge guy, right? It makes sense that, when he was through, he walked on County Road to get to his car parked at the CPS building, right? His unspent bullet is a match to his gun, but how unique are the markings on the unspent bullet? This case is maddening.

So many are unsure! I hope they don’t convict the wrong guy letting the real culprit(s) get away with a double murder of two young girls! That would be awful to know the real killer(s) are still in our community, walking free to do it again! I just feel so upset for the girls and their families. We all want Justice but is there any to be found ever in this case?? This is far too important of a case to screw up and unfortunately, that’s what they’ve done from the beginning- letting down the girls, their families/loved ones and us, the community.

Allen is almost certainly guilty. I implore you to follow the *facts* of the case, and not the drooling nutbars spouting insane conspiracy theories. These are the facts of the case:
1.) Richard Allen placed himself at the bridge and on the trails at the same time the girls were there, and also said he was wearing the same clothes as Bridge Guy.
2.) A witness put him on the first platform at the same time he put himself on the platform. Then the same witness, when she was leaving, saw Abby and Libby walking toward the bridge (whereon bridge guy was standing).
3.) Every witness who saw Bridge Guy said he was the same person who is in the Bridge Guy video.
4.) Allen said he saw three girls. Three girls said they saw the guy in the Bridge Guy video.
5.) Allen said he was on his cell phone at the bridge, looking at a stock ticker. There's no cell phone data corroborating this. Either he had his phone off, or he left his phone home. Why?
6.) The police found 20 cell phones at his house, except then phone he had in 2017, when the girls were murdered. Odd.
7.) He confessed over 60 times, including to his wife and mother. Perhaps this could be written off if he hadn't given the detail about the white van spooking him. The white van that spooked Allen is corroborated by the man who drove the van, as he put himself at the scene the same time Allen said he was with the girls. And no, he couldn’t have known about the white van as know one knew about it at the time of his confession. It was NOT on the discovery.
8.) Bridge Guy's voice sounds like Allen's voice.
9.) The ejected cartridge had marks that matched Allen's gun.
10.) The wounds on Abby and Libby's throats looked like they were done by a box cutter. Richard Allen admitted to slashing their throats with a box cutter in one of his confessions.
11.) He admitted to parking at the CPS building, and his car was seen at the CPS building.
How anyone sees him as anything but guilty is beyond my understanding. Some nutty people are going to great lengths to defend this child m*rd*r*r. Completely insane. Allen is Bridge Guy. Bridge Guy abducted the girls. Allen confessed to being Bridge Guy, admitted to killing them, and described details only he could have known. He killed those poor girls.

The bullet is bs they are saying that someone who buys the same exact model gun with the same size chamber couldn't possibly leave the same marks, which the round being unspent, would only be touched by the extractor, since the chamber holds no rifling and the rim is the only part of the casing to touch the chamber? There is no way to possibly, ever, get close match marking from a different firearm or the same model? Yeah.. You are wrong. If I have two factory machined 2016 Ruger American pistols, they will both leave near identical, if any, extraction marks on a round. Especially if they are steel.
