For those who are wondering what summoner archetype to play/start: For me, this will always be the smoothes starter of them all. And transitioning into any of the golem builds once you have aquired some currency with the help of your skellies, is super easy. You can also level golem gems on the side or buy higher level once later. But maybe you grow fond of your calcium heavy friends and scale the mages to endgame with some investment, they can easly carry you though the known endgame (new content will see but nobody knows what will go down there so..) Hope that makes it easier for you. You dont't have to decide now
@@AGVenge Disclaimer, I haven't played this in hardcore, but I rarely ever die, not counting crazy new league stuff. Your biggest defense comes from flooding the screen so most will not get to you or hit you with projectiles. Put block and more life on this plus bone barrier this should be pretty tanky, KayGaming has also a like 10k life version of skellies, once you survived endgame if you want to go super turtle mode
I would recommend hypothermia instead of slower projectiles. We get a garunteed chill from skitterbots vs bosses and the more damage is 10% higher too!
Not sure if someones mentioned this but I just hit 54 and picked up the Devotion life wheel, currently running skitterbots / flesh & stone / zealotry... If you take the Viality mastery you can fit vitality back in early until you get an enlighten. Enjoying the build very much so far! Thank you

I noticed in the new POB you switched from Mistress of sacrifice to Bone Barrier at end game (above 118 skill points)? Is this correct or should we stick with Mistress of sacrifice?
Hi Von Great work. I noticed though that the leveling POB does not have a "Weapon 2/Shield" for the gems and socketed groups. Additionally, the Min Max POB still show the "Weapon 2/Shield" slot as having the HexTouch/Snipers Mark/Armageddon Brand. Could we get updated POBs? Thank you again
What did you for the health mastery? The older video doesn't have anything in the health mastery and the updated skill tree shows you had some selected
Nice build guide again. But one question remains for me: Mistress of Sacrifice or Bone Barrier? What do you recommend? PoB here shows Barrier in low, Mistress i high budget With Bone Barrier you could get rid of the corrupted blood mastery (and perhaps the 4 skill points total) and have another defense layer. With Mistress you gain damage and move/cast speed for yourself. Hard choice :D And do you recommend flesh offering over bone offering? With your starter PoB, Mistress and bone offering instead of flesh offering you have 65/64 (75/72 with Rumi's) block chance, so near cap. Or do you feel its not necessary?

Just think about how you want to play; skeletons will always be more active and generally have more damage while any golem build will probably be more passive and safer.
Typically you would transition into one of the golem builds after skellies, but with von giving us such a nice gg endgame option for mage skellies, you can just keep scaling it if you enjoy it 😁, or switch once you got some currency (anima stone, harmony Ext, clay shapers)
Am I doing something wrong? Your build calls for using Armageddon Brand and Hextouch Support to apply Sniper's Mark. However Sniper's Mark is incompatible with Hextouch as it is a Mark, not a Hex.
Are you going to be adjusting your leveling trees to get to the new end point? I can do it myself (eventually) but if you are planning to anyway ... just saying. 😁

HI there. I thought he addressed this before where capping your chaos res does NOT effect you skeletons, rather its only the armour and nodes on the tree. So you CAN have character chaos res cap without it hurting your skeletons. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Are you sure that you still get the stats from the Covenant jewels in a cluster jewel slot? The tooltip in game says that the radius will not function when in a cluster jewel slot, does that just mean that they disable the negative effect and you still get the block/dodge? Seems unlikely GGG would be that generous.
it's only the part that say notable passives in radius that is deactivated while in the cluster jewel which is what you want as it will not make your minions slower while its in the cluster jewel.
Could you address one thing that doesnt quite make sense to me pls? We do want the mod that recovers minion life on minion death but on the other hand, we give our minions basically 95% ES and almost no life, due to fleshcrafter and 40-49% chaos res. This is kind of a nonbo, right? Any tipps on how to work around that?
I used some ideas and expanded it into my own build, I was stumped for 2 days as to why you were doing almost twice as much damage as me...why does your fleshcrafter have -50% enemy res?
I think because the fleshcrafter ignore elemental resistances isnt working in POB. i just copied Von Victons Fleshcrafter in my chars POB and it doubled my damage.
Why not take glancing blows for block cap? Is it too difficult to sustain life from damag from blocked attacks and spells for necro? We could take a recoup notable with Intuitive leap unique jewel
Glancing blows is so garbage now that you take 65% of hits. Basically after the nerf nobody should take glancing blows, ever. It just is a straight up EHP nerf.
To give you an idea of just how bad glancing blows is, with 56% block chance.... Let's say we're dealing with a 1000 damage hit Without glancing blows you have 56% chance to take 0 damage, and 44% chance to take 1000 damage = average of 440 damage WITH glancing blows (and 75% chance to block, obviously), you have 75% chance to take 650 damage, and 25% chance to take 1000 damage = average 737 damage Even in the absolute best case for glancing blows, a 37.5% chance to block (thus maximizing the block chance gained), the average hit with GB is still about 15% worse than without it. Pretty much the only case where GB might still be worth it is if you had a shield with a high life gain on block, but somehow you aren't pathing through block nodes.

Effects like Tempest Shield and Skitterbots need to be taken by both since they only effect us right? I guess one can take vitality and one clarity but what could I take as an alternative to zealotry? Maybe Haste?
Skitterbots don't stack, so only one needs it. As for auras, haste would be indeed a good choice. Since I understand you will be a duo, auras don't have the greatest ranges, so either invest in a little aura area of effect, or stick very close to the minions.

Gloves has elemental weaknees on hit curse , can skeleton mages proc this ? I did annoint my amulet and get the gloves but skeletons doesn't seem to proc it.Am i missing something ? Is it just for the bosses like sniper's mark ? Can i proc both curses with a single brand ?
man that endgame movespeed, 25 ms is glacially slow. id drop the kaoms for some nice 30-35ms boots plus a quicksilver and a shield charge or something.
Hi man maybe you can explain something to me. I see many people in poe ninja are playing Hypothermia + Awakened Elemental Focus. Obviously it's gonna work if we have some kinda chill in build for example skitterbots. But they don't have them or anything similar. Are they pob warriors or they just following like stupid some guide? Because in pob when I put hypothermia instead GMP I get like 18mil instead 10. Also Awalened Elemental Focus 5 is bugged in pob. It should give +1 gems to elemental gems but it also work with skeletons.

Hi guys so im having a bit of trouble with one of the cluster jewels the medium one that has the 4s invincibility.. ive been alteration orbing 4 and 6 passive skill ones to no avail.. does it have to be a 5 passive one to roll the 4s invincibillity?

The elemental army on the spectre gem isnt doing anything. Fleshcrafter sets resistance to 0%, cant modify it anymore. Also it looks like support spectres got tweaked, im getting great uptime without lifetap.
Could anyone please suggest which items to use for the animate guardian? (Ive got +3 helmet with damage and hyp and using 6link fleshcrafter) and it dies every now and then with (kingmaker ,victarious flight , southbound , leercast , rare crusader chest with life , consecrated ground while stationary and life added as extra es)
Mages will dominate scourge league. Clear is so strong. I loved them in 3.15 and they will be stronger in 3.16. I was torn between carrion or mages, but I gotta go with mages
It's 100% viable. Dead Reckoning isn't mandatory to run early maps, and getting to 50-75 chaos is a breeze early. Regular Skeleton are able to carry you through early maps easily.
I think anointing Grave Intentions is a massive trap, because IT BREAKS LIFETAP, since it means your minions have almost no life to use to cast the charge generations. I've anointed deflection instead, for tankiness, ENDURANCE CHARGES, etc
@@edeka3 because with fleahcraftwr and the nose your minions have 46% chaos res, and thus convert 94% of their life to Es "Minions Convert 2% of their Maximum Life to Maximum Energy Shield per 1% Chaos Resistance they have" from fleshcrafter.
I'm confused on two fronts with this build. Currently L80: 3,519 Life, 1,161 Shield 1) I seem to get randomly insta-ganked, in and out of Nightmare, and even in the mines. All with mid (not max) resistances. 2) I just (as a test) got my Chaos resist to 75, and my skeletons are not insta-poofing even tho I am wearing Fleshcrafter and have Grave Intentions Anointed. So now I'm wondering how to see if it's working at all.
its not about your chaos resistance, its about your minions chaos resistance. I think base for skeleton mages is 20% chaos resistance. Grave Intentions gives u +27%, which is still 47%. If u go exactly 50% chaos resistance ( Skeleton mages ) on them, or above - they will die.
I need a "baron zombie" / Skelly Mage build combo guide please ... it has to be possible .. i know you can do it with melee skelly's, but i kinda would prefer mages . So many ways to get 6 link .. helmet, chest, weapon ..or 5 link boot / gloves

Also increased critical damage instead of elemental focus increases damage quite a bit considering the skellies have power c harges.

do remember not to cap your chaos res if your set up kills your skeles past 49%

I'm pretty new so might not understand, what is the interactions with having "trigger socketed spell" with summon stone golem, vitality, and tempest?
So they are always activating, but I have Desecrate, Summon Stone Golem and Flesh offering myself.

Thatll be in our min maxed version. It changes the tree quite a bit so more testing is needed

Skele mages are cheaper than golems and clear faster. Golems have higher dmg potential late game but cost a bit more up front

What about the Devouring Diadem helmet (less reservation,+1 gem level) ? No good for this setup?
You'd loose too much defenses for your spectres and zombies sadly

Totally unneeded. Gem levels + spell echo does all the work. I have 14 skellies and only 2 casts to get 'em all up

Yes. Melee skeletons is a fine build until you can get the jewel.

Yeah life tap was killing my spectres and I took it out and they still give my minions power / frenzy charges regularly seems to be fine with out it.

Mages will dominate scourge league. Clear is so strong. I loved them in 3.15 and they will be stronger in 3.16. I was torn between carrion or mages, but I gotta go with mages

how can you put in the "full dps" and 11x summon skelton tooltip into the build, like you have in the bottom of your build!..
So what should i be using until i get enough chaos to buy the gem that turns the skeletons into mages?
This is not a viable league starter in early Scourge
It just requires you to play regular skelly version until you can afford Dead Reckoning jewel and a blessed rebirth jewel
It's 100% viable. Dead Reckoning isn't mandatory to run early maps, and getting to 50-75 chaos is a breeze early. Regular Skeleton are able to carry you through early maps easily.
I think anointing Grave Intentions is a massive trap, because IT BREAKS LIFETAP, since it means your minions have almost no life to use to cast the charge generations.
I've anointed deflection instead, for tankiness, ENDURANCE CHARGES, etc

I'm confused on two fronts with this build. Currently L80: 3,519 Life, 1,161 Shield
1) I seem to get randomly insta-ganked, in and out of Nightmare, and even in the mines. All with mid (not max) resistances.
2) I just (as a test) got my Chaos resist to 75, and my skeletons are not insta-poofing even tho I am wearing Fleshcrafter and have Grave Intentions Anointed. So now I'm wondering how to see if it's working at all.
its not about your chaos resistance, its about your minions chaos resistance. I think base for skeleton mages is 20% chaos resistance. Grave Intentions gives u +27%, which is still 47%. If u go exactly 50% chaos resistance ( Skeleton mages ) on them, or above - they will die.
I need a "baron zombie" / Skelly Mage build combo guide please ... it has to be possible .. i know you can do it with melee skelly's, but i kinda would prefer mages .
So many ways to get 6 link .. helmet, chest, weapon ..or 5 link boot / gloves
