  • Incoming comments from the men as expected but again this is for those who can strongly relate and understand. Again this is not ALL black men, this is towards all the black men who have time to degrade bad women.

    The black men in the comments are proving your point, and with the Fuhad and James controversy happening right now, your video was well-timed. There is a massive anti-black issue in the black community and the denial is an attempt to gaslight you and to make you feel like the issue is with you. We all know that the issue isn't with us (as in it's not because we are ugly), the issue is that we are "ugly" in this environment and the perception of what is beautiful is persuaded by Euroscentirc ideals of beauty. It's why most Somalis don't claim being black or AFrican because they feel they don't have typical African features. Take a likkle trip to Africa or the Carribean and the story will change - you are the beauty standard, I have seen the treatment men give to LS women vs DS women, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to see this but I don't expect perpetrators to acknowledge their crimes.

      My experience informed me that black women can be the most argumentative, but they're not the most unaccountable. White women own that one by far! They literally have no ability to apologize or accept that they made a mistake. And if they do make a mistake and the man tells her about it he will pay a price for it!

    You know I’m light skin and short I’ve been treated differently All my life because in the black community you need to be tall and dark for women to take you seriously Do I complain? No at the end of the day I’ll choose to be with who appreciates me I won’t force anyone to appreciate me there’s someone out there for everyone

      @@braag710 your comment is like telling black people not to acknowledge and “complain” about racism. That they should just take it and accept their lot in life. Your personal expeirnce being a LS shorter male is one bi product of colourism whether you’d like to admit it or not. Because dark skin is seen as inherently masculine, DS black women and LS men get the shorter end of the stick but in different ways. You’re seen a “soft” and we are seen as manly. The other end of the spectrum is that DS men are seen as manly and alpha but LS women are seen as the epitome of femininity. And it goes beyond “preference” because you have to start asking yourself what influences people’s preferences. We do not live in a vacuum and can’t deny our society influences what we deem to be attractive. For example: it’s not a coincidence that majority of women prefer tall men (even the short ones- which is another discussion altogether). Why? They are taught indirectly or directly that tall men are more attractive, more mainly etc. It’s no different with skin tone but for some people because BW are speaking out- people want to invalidate their experiences.

      @@DANTESDEMISE being a dark skinned woman is also tough. Yes we need better representation but also the idea that dark is masculine, light skin is feminine and short men are not manly need to change. But that may take decades. We have to continue talking about it if we want to see a shift though.

    A lot of black women are very strong and independent bc of their own personal experiences. If black men don’t want to date you does not invalidate your beauty or your worth. And I see plenty of black couples, other races with black partners… the hatred can be towards the weight, no matter what culture you’re in fat is not seen as healthy- (generally! Ik people who love big women) so no matter what race you are, if you’re overweight, you will not be as respected or valued as it will be seen as lazy/unconsistent/lack of self esteem. But I really think no one nowadays has issues with trying different flavours, if you don’t get approached is because most of the population are attracted to skinnier but shapy ladies. Not because they prefer other races. I can be wrong but I really think of you lost weight you’d see the difference

    When it comes to your weight and self esteem, you CANNOT separate the 2! The same goes for men when it comes to their success and self esteem! A man's self esteem is tied to his success just as a woman's self esteem is tied to her beauty. And, when those things fall out of order then excuses start surfacing! The point is to get beyond making the excuses and becoming accepting of yourself and others. Men need to stop using beautiful women to raise their status when they don't have any. And below average looking women need to stop putting on a whole mask to make her beautiful in order to get a man when she's not remotely beautiful!
    Basically what I'm saying is get in your lane and if you don't like the lane you're in then make real changes rather than cosmetic ones and that goes for men and women. When you do that, your self-esteem will automatically rise, but it cannot go up when you're cosmetically trying to become something that you're not!

    I just dont get how colorism is a thing. Most black men i know love natural hair. I always encouraged my ex wife to wear her hair natural. We cant be responsible for everything you are when you arent doing anything we ask. For someone asking to be seen for more you sure focused on the most shallow aspects of people. Sexual attraction compatibility and respect all together. Without one of these it doesnt work.

    • @LOVELYLONDONGURL
      @LOVELYLONDONGURL 15 วันที่ผ่านมา

      So the few men you know means that millions of women's experiences are somehow invalidated or not real? even light skinned women and men acknowledge that colorism is real. Have you ever heard about the house slave and the field slave - did you know what they was predicated on? Have you heard of the statistics that show the dark skin black men get longer prison sentences than light skinned black men? Have you been living under a rock for the past like 20 years regarding all the controversies in this area from people with platforms? I find it hard to believe that deep down you think the colorism is just a figment of people's imaginations. It's really like a white person gaslighting black people about prejudice and racism.

When I have a family I am going to teach my black daughters how to get ahead, same way I teach my sons. Inadequate parenting is the cause of ALL the black communities issues
