    lol nice I'm in Missoula looking for a new pair of snow boots before the snows come. Thanks for the great review

    Thanks for sharing. Can I ask whether you purchased the boots yourself - or were they sample boots provided by the manufacturer for review?
    Kind regards,
    John

      Thanks for watching John. We received the boots in exchange for an honest review of how they worked for us.

    Thanks for the video. Appreciate the detail and showing how to get the shoe on and off. I wanted to ask…how is the fit in relation to the dew claws? I had issues with a different shoe where the Velcro pressed right against the dew claw and irritated it. Also, how has the construction held up over time? Lastly, how do you feel about getting them on and off? You mentioned it’s a little bit longer to get it on. I’m looking for something that can be put on relatively quick for walks when it’s snowing out.
    Just trying to figure out whether it’s worth the price. They seem better than other models available.
    Thanks
    Andrew

      They have held up great and we’ve not had any issues with the few claws. It would be a pain to put them on for a 5 minute walk only because it takes us a couple minutes to get all of them on there. But a longer walk it’s worth it.

      @@AdventureRig thanks for the reply. I’m more thinking for when it’s really snowy and icy out. Do you find they stay on without slipping or coming off?

      @@AndrewRockTH-cam We had some issues with them staying on before we got two different sizes between the front and rear paws. But they stay on well now. We know people that use them in the summer as well for hiking in rough rocky terrain.

    Definitely will be picking these up. What is the difference between the Grip Trex Paris & the Polar Trex Winter Dog Boots? @Adventure Rig ?

    • @AdventureRig
      @AdventureRig  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Grip Trex are more of a warm/summer boot. They are breathable and they do not have the upper sock that the Polar Trex have that help to prevent snow from entering.

    It's been a bit since you posted this. Are you still using these boots? Any issues with them?

    • @AdventureRig
      @AdventureRig  7 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      They are great boots and have held up wonderfully. We still run into trouble where they will come off but I've talked to others who never run into this so I don't know if it's just Hanks paws. A great all around boot for protection though.

    Great review,Thank you very much. We had the old version of the Polar Trex boots and although the concept was awesome with the high uppers, it was awful when it came to dew claws. Did you come across any problems with the dew claws getting rubbed, or worse torn? Thanks Tyson & Hank!

    How durable are these shoes? And can they be used for both extreme cold and hot weathers?

    • @AdventureRig
      @AdventureRig  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They are very durable. I've seen people using them on their dogs in the desert to protect their paws against sharp rocks.

      @@AdventureRig yeah the reviews on their webpage talk about how the boots are irritating and can make their paws bleed and how they’re not fully waterproof, but if you haven’t had that problem that’s a bit of a relief. My search for doggy boots continues tho 😣

      Oh ya I know - I'm looking at it, I just meant did you find your dog true to the size their recommending? A couple reviews said that their paws were raw afterwards from the snug fit. So I was just wondering if you found great success in the size their recommending based on the size chart.
