On February 10, 2023, a Monroe County Sheriff’s deputy assisted with an animal welfare check in Tomah, WI. Upon arrival at the residence, the deputy noticed a stolen vehicle with three occupants inside. As he tried to stabilize the situation, the driver fled in the vehicle. However, it was not long before his plan failed. He opted to give himself up and thought it was also the perfect opportunity to reveal a surprise.

DON'T. They knew, or should have known, that the job was "dangerous" when they took it. More or less, a cop's job involves SANITATION, i.e., dealing with the "filthy dregs" of society. And, to an extent, I do feel SOME "sympathy", or at least, if confronted by a cop, say, at a traffic stop, I'm not simply going to do the minimum that the LAW requires, but a little courtesy and seeing things from his/her POV goes a long way. Most of time, works just fine. We tend to remember or note the asshole cops out there because they're the minority, they STAND OUT, which is unfortunate for their respective departments and profession.
