After almost 2 years of looking, they recently signed under Republic records for non Christmas songs. I guess, like Taylor Swift, they are redoing their best classics.
There’s probably some post production like balancing. I mean, they all sound perfect so I’m sure they at least balanced the audio. But this is exactly the same arrangement that they perform live on almost every tour. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing them several times live, and this is amazing.
There has been only one change in Pentatonix. Avi Kaplan left late in 2017 and was replaced by Matt Sallee as the bass. Kirstie and Mitch often change their looks.
