awe thank you so much Donna. lovely of you to say. When i first started making soap and bath bombs i could not get a recipe or assistance as people are worried to give out recipes and seem to be concerned with others opening a store. i dont worry as i think we need competition to keep us always thinking so my goal is to create a soaping community where people feel safe to ask me how to make something and i will give my opinion to help
I use a stand mixer for colouring my bicarb only. I’ve always bloomed my bicarb but mixing was getting really painful due to arthritis. My mixer came with a beater with silicone edges which mix the bottom and edges perfectly, no more stopping to mix in. Love your videos, great help as I’ve only been making bombs for a couple of years, after I had open heart surgery, I needed something to help me de-stress and this most definitely help. I don’t sell them but make for friends and family. The whole assessment things gets my stress up thinking about it 🤣
I’m so glad you have found a de stresser as we all need that. I actually enjoy painting bath bombs for that reason too. The mixers I use are only a cheap one and it does come with a silicon edged mixer but it does not totally hit the bottom. I will get a fancy one in the future but I mix a lot by hand
Great idea for the leftover bottom of the bowl colors! I love it! I usually throw them in stand up pouches with embed pieces glitter and a toy..sell as bath fizzies but your idea is great!
Hi Rhonda 😊 Lachie & I are loving your videos! We just noticed that you’re wearing his Australia Day Scrunchie in this video 😍 I’ve been toying with the idea of getting one of these bath bomb presses for a while now. They make it look much easier.
It’s heaps easier and it’s worth every scent. I am wearing his scrunchie . I love supporting all small. Buss. I’m also hosting an Australian soap and candle conference that I set up in March next year so check that out to.
@@tinagosper4865 yes it’s the first one as no one has ever set it up. I now have around $5000 in prices as suppliers have been so generous to help get it off the ground. The website for it is on the description. Also make sure you message me a pic of some of lachies work as I’d love to add it in the books and I’d like to talk to you a bit more about it
I have just come across your amazing page! thank you so much for sharing all that you do. I am learning so much. Can i ask, do you have a video of wrapping the bath bombs?
@@NelsonInteriorSoapery Thank you so much for your reply, I am only just starting out. Do you have a suggestion on something smaller to start with? I have seen the big rolls and they are quite expensive when just starting. I am in Qld.
@@bjking8807 if you go to heirloom you can buy the shrink wrap by the metre. That’s how I started . Its$1.40 a metre heirloombodycare.com.au/products/shrink?variant=32855784226921
Beautiful outcome! Is there a link for the curing tray that you are placing the bath bombs on? If its something you’d rather stay private with I truly understand 😊
Hi there. These are just a silicon cake mould and then I place wrap over them which allows the bathbombs to float on top . I got them from dream cakes Australia. I don’t keep anything secret . I’m happy to share
Just found your site, and I’m so glad I did. I’ve been wanting to try bath bombs…..but wanted to try to use sunflower lecithin. Do u have any thoughts on this product? X x thanx for the great video!
Very informative and your bath bombs are so pretty! But I do have a quick question, what are the sparkly bits that you put at the top of the bath bomb? I've used a few bath bombs with those chunky glittery bits at the top but I never know what they are. Are they just colored Epsom salts?
Hello. Love your vids! I really want to make a large batch of bath bombs for a friend that has apple cider vinegar in it for my bath. Is this even possible since apple cider vinegar and baking soda don't mix well??
I would not put that in a bath bomb as some one sits there whole body in there and vinegar is to strong for skin . You have to be careful with what you add
Thank you for the suggestion!! I wear my hair in natural dreadlock styles. Maybe I could make ACV Bombs to detox my hair instead. Would the vinegar and baking soda work better this way?
@@nadiyai.4197 I guess you could try it but I am not sure if the vinegar content. It may change your hair colour as vinegar can bleach things . Baking soda and vinegar are known as cleaners when but together. I think a bath bomb in it may crack but if you want I guess you try in yourself but I’m not suggesting it if course as I don’t know enough about it.
Glad I’m not the only one that grinds the epsom to a powder! It gives a so much better texture and finish
It does but I often don’t use it any more as it does give a powdery bath bomb
So many helpful tips. Thank you!

That’s also a great idea. I don’t add toys in mine due to insurance. The pouch is an idea I have thought of too

The standard is a 2 inch but use a 2.5 inch bath bomb

Never used it to be honest. My latest recipe is my suggested one although they all work fine. Just don’t forget polysorbate 80
Thank you for your tips! Can I ask what size mould you used?
Hi there it’s a 69mm one . It’s a little larger than the average one
Hi, you make it look so easy. Replayed twice but still didnt catch the amount of epsom salts... thanks
Hi there. Thank you. It’s 70grans and make sure you grind them down

They are sugar candy or sugar sprinkles that are food grade as then they just melt in the bath.
Thank you for watching too 💕💕
Why do you use resin mould instead of the silver ones? Do they last as long? Thank you in advance.
I have had them a few years and no issues. I find them easier to use and my mix does not stick to resin as I use a fairly dry mix
Also they are cheaper
@@NelsonInteriorSoapery thank you that is very helpful.

What is the whole recipe?
It should be there. If not I have many many videos with bath bomb recipes .
I think I give it during the video
