Overlord Of The Overworld! | Minecraft Legends Review

Welcome back to Minecraft, again! But this time it’s not regular Minecraft. Its Minecraft Legends.
When this game was announced I was surprisingly hyped for it. I liked the idea of the story told in this game basically being origin story of minecraft and a legend told in universe by villagers to each other. Giving the sandbox that is Minecraft some world building/lore. The gameplay seemed most promising to me and has some great potential. It reminded me a lot of the Overlord games. Which I look fondly back at as I enjoyed the series unique gameplay and setting.
Unfortunately I had not the chance to dive in right away when the game came out. I did keep an eye on the steam page of the game and well… there things didn’t look that promising and it had me worried a little bit. But that doesn’t really stop me to wonder and dive in to see if Minecraft Legends lived up to its ideas and capture its potential that I saw in it.
