I have been to Westport years ago and there was this lovely nostalgic tea room. Think it's closed now. But seeing it now makes me wanna go back.
As for suggestions... Killarney and Kenmore would be great

Class, love Westport. Moran’s, Matt Millot’s and Grainstore my favourites but there’s so many good ones.
Should go to Carlingford &/or Dundalk for video. Good pubs there although not as touristy..
OMG my wife and I took our first trip to Ireland this past March, 2024. Our tour director announced we were stopping in Wesport. Doing a ton of research, and being a Chieftains fan. I knew where I had to go. We showed up and the front door was locked. We went around back and the door was open. We went in and took loads of pictures. Fearing the Garda was going to arrest us we left to the mail office. We came back and it was open. We had a couple of pints and walked around. Wow it was magical for me.
yayyy loved this used to go here as a child , excited to try try the pubs now ! When will part two be up .
