They were taking him to get medical attention. Us Americans know after all the gun fights in California that an ambulance won't go into a hot zone. And as far as the ambulance that stopped and didn't have the jeeps stop, that is a hot zone. You are not going to take the time to move a patient and get shot at. If this was a human shield why did the ambulances come anyway, with out a shield? If he was a shield he would have been strapped to the roof, more protective covering. The injured Pal made it to the hospital and got treatment, how many Pal stories can say that? Wake up world, the Pal is not your friend.
