Thank you very much for your detailed review of the WM175 watch! Your professional insights are very important to us.
We are pleased that you recognize the quality of the watch. Regarding the issue you mentioned about the crown design, we understand your concern. In fact, water resistance is influenced by multiple factors, including seal materials, case structure, and manufacturing processes. We have taken everyone's suggestions into account and adopted a screw-down crown in our latest WM189 and WM194 series to enhance water resistance. Additionally, the butterfly clasp on the bracelet has been replaced with a folding clasp that includes a micro-adjustment feature.
Please continue to follow our products and improvements.
Thank you again for your valuable feedback and support!❤❤❤

I bought this watch based on an online preview I saw. It wasn’t a full review just a “upcoming showcase” type video, and the looks alone convinced me to buy it, especially as Welly Merck had just rebranded to WM.
The cost including shipping and import tax to the UK was £82, so a relatively cheap watch.
I didn’t even remove the packaging when it arrived as the seconds hand wasn’t even attached to the watch, it was laying by the 6 o’clock marker.. I have no idea if this was a manufacturing fault or it had been knocked about in transit, so I sent it back. Credit where credit is due WM were very good with communication, and I received my money back.
A week later a second watch arrived at no cost, so again I cannot fault WM customer service.
I would say the quality does not match the San Martins I own, but is greater than the Paganis I have.
I have a 7 1/2 inch wrist and this watch wears smaller than I expected, feels smaller than my SMP 300.
The strap is ok, and again better than a Pagani. I only had to remove 1 link to get a reasonable fit, so if your wrists are much bigger you may need to swap out the metal bracelet for a rubber or Nylon strap. My criticism of the strap is, like all butterfly style clasps the lack of micro adjustment.
I bought the blue dial for the sunburst effect, which to me is a good look, and a contrast to the mainly black face watches I already own.
I prefer no date watches, but the 4 o’clock date isn’t an issue for me, nor is the push pull crown. In reality how many of us actually go diving with these watches on. If I’m on holiday and jumping in the sea or the pool, at work, or doing anything where I’m worried about my watch I’ll be wearing one of my G shocks. I don’t disagree that a screw down crown is a better feature, but I can live without it.
Similarly we’d all love lume that shines bright all night, but less lume, or even none, wouldn’t stop me buying a watch I liked.
My experience with WM, and this watch in general is positive. Initially put off the brand by the branding, then bought a watch with an issue.
Now that’s been resolved I’m more than happy with this purchase, and find it comfortable and good looking on the wrist. Of course it’s not perfect, but for me, at £82 (GBP) it’s a watch I’m going to wear and enjoy.

@davemoth52 Quite a Story! 🙂 I'm sure I've seen your comment with pics :-) on WM AliExpress listing of this watch too 🙂 Thank you for sharing! 🙂👍

For the price this is a great watch. My only criticism is the push/pull, crown as a daily watch it's great. But the 250m claimed water resistance and a push/pull crown. Well, it's just as well I'm not a diver and the rest of the watch is great. With a very competitive price. Mine arrived this morning and it's even better than I expected and except for the push pull crown I have absolutely no hesitation in saying this is a great looking watch, it wears really nicely and its a great price.

Great head of the watch. They should change the crown to screw down & as it’s a big watch could do with female end links.Love the bezel design. Thanks for the review

Very nice lookwise but still say house a NH35 with screw down crown solid case back this then would be spot on. .Great in depth review...

First of all thank you for the great review video. And my question is how is the build quality and finishing. ( I have San Martin's cheapest watch SN0054-G-E1. Which one is better for you? Old SM Homages or this one? ) :)

That is not their cheapest watch. But it is a San Martin. The San Martin is definitely better than the watch in this video.

@hasanrsy It is not easy to compare. $127 SN0054G is a very different watch with its watch head being identical to the more expensive $251 SN0054. However, if we just compare the quality of case finishing between SN0054 and this WM Diver it is not much different. Which is interesting, but again only a small part of the story. It's like if I put the same brand of tires on Z3 BMW and VW SUV - the tires could be the same and even the price somewhat similar, but the comparison will not make much sense. Maybe not the best example 😁 but I hope you see my point 😊👍

Some web reviews at AE say cheap feel, sharp edges, and no screw down crown. Poor refund process. The manufacturer responded to that critique by saying those critiques had been addresses. If ordered how would one know which version would be sent??

I think an NH35, 3 o'clock date window, MM300 style indices, and a screwed-down crown would make this perfect.

The most action 99.9% of these dive watches see is the sink lmao. Is it unacceptable to you because you were going to use it exploring the titanic?

Sorry but its junk. There are so many fantastic watches for 150 dollars. Just because it's cheap doesn't mean it's good value. Spend slightly more.
