    It's good to hear that you are happy with this oven. Thank you for following-up with this review. What is the white residue on and around the vent at the rear of the oven cavity? Is it some cleaning product? It looks very much like a fire extinguisher was discharged into the oven.

      We are happy the follow up was helpful. The white residue is some baking soda we must have missed when wiping out the oven. We have found that making a paste from baking soda and water to clean the oven without scratching has been very effective.

    I am considering a diesel cook top for my offroad camper and only have 1 concern. Upto what altitude does your diesel cook top work well? What is the highest altitude you have used it at?

      Thanks for the question. The highest altitude we have used this cooktop at is 6700ft when we were in Wyoming. We were at Grand Teton National Park for approximately five months. There is a high altitude switch that can be added and we need to active any time we are above 4200ft.
